Liberals are not looking to dominate anybody. We just want fair treatment for EVERYBODY.

Oh my! Fairness for everyone! How, well, um... fair!

Even those of us who have become accustomed to the slow but forward movement toward fairness between the genders, races, economic disparity, to take a giant leap backward is seen as oppressive.

I still remember in the mid 70s when the bank I worked for had to pay a whole bunch of us females a huge amount in back pay because we had been systematically paid a certain percentage less than our male counterparts.

That was a step into equality -- so I felt pretty good! Same year the assistant manager cornered me in the stock room to try to kiss me -- and of course he would be the one weighing in with my performance report to determine if I were to get a merit raise. Ugh, one step forward, two steps back.

Liberals want to define what is "fair" for everyone and impose that on everyone.

That notion will not gain any traction here. 👎👎

To those accustomed to arrogant brutality and abuse, behaving in a civil manner is interpreted as weakness and feels oppressive (reminds one of their sexual inadequacy).

At this point, I would kinda like to do some dominating.

So true!!! If only the average working man and woman understood that!!

I love RBG, she shared a birthday with my mom and middle daughter.

Wow, a very distinguished birth day! 😊

@Flyingsaucesir My mom passed in 1972, so I was thrilled when my baby was born on her birthday. Well, I was just thrilled the brat was born, she was more than two weeks late.

No shit. But conservatives feel they should be able to dominate over everyone else and that equality or even trying to achieve it is wrong, silly, and unpatriotic. And they try to justify their viewpoint with religion and a bogus argument that Social Darwinism is the natural order of things.

Social Darwinism! Ugh! Herbert Spencer was nothing but a toady for the rich and powerful, and his ideology a meritless bastardization of science.
