Agreed! I loathe spectator sports. It seems like such irrational in-group loyalty. I couldn't care less about how well strangers do in physical competition against one another. To me it's a colossal waste of time that I could be spending, well, not watching sports.

An anti-natalist is one who is opposed to procreation. The thinking is that the unborn cannot consent to being brought into existence, so the ethical action is to not impose it upon them — thus refraining from procreating.

@BlueWave My thought is that some percentage of people will have overwhelming hardships, excruciating diseases, etc., and while a lot of people are happy with their lives there's no harm to someone to have never existed (and there are almost endless numbers of people who never existed — think of the many, many combinations of sperm and eggs that never join). So, I've decided for myself to never have children, erring on the side of not creating a life that might be full of suffering.

The fringe left has taken to imposing censorship upon society, which is decidedly an anti-liberal stance. I can't get behind the SJW movement, and I think it does far more harm than good. As soon as we start shouting down people who have different opinions, we create a backlash — and we see the results when people feel marginalized by the left and get out to vote for a populist like Donald Trump without caring about qualifications, judgement, ability, etc. A vote for a candidate who spoke his mind unapologetically was, to his supporters, a middle finger to the far left whom they felt had been telling them for decades to shut up.

Regarding incest, I don't care. The "eww" part of my brain kicks in and I can't imagine it for myself, but why should I care what other consenting adults are doing? Even the genetic risks for offspring are overstated, though I'm against having kids regardless.

And so far as my stance on incestuous relationships go, at least you recognize that consenting adults can do what they want, even if it isn't your preference. I have a fuckton of respect for that one.
