President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., is pushing back on a recent bombshell story published by The New York Times that reported his father paid no income taxes for 10 of the 15 years that preceded his winning the presidency, and $750 in tax in 2016 and 2017.
“People don’t understand what goes into a business,” Trump Jr. said. “[The story] doesn’t include property taxes. It doesn’t include payroll taxes. It doesn’t include real-estate taxes." [thehill.com]

Those taxes were deducted for income, and he is also being investigated for real estate tax fraud and state income tax fraud and payroll tax fraud. He probably should have read the article before he opened up his sewer pipe.

Exactly! They love to conflate the individual with the business when it suits their narrative. The truth is that a lot of things that we all - as individuals - have to pay for out of our pockets get reclassed and used as a business expense to offset their business income. I kept the books for a real estate firm for many years....some of the things I saw - well lets just say that my red hair was good camouflage for how often it was on fire. hahahaha
