I love the Gandalf paraphrase, lol.
Dandelions are important early spring nectar sources for early season moths and butterflies. I leave them be. My gripe is with the tyrany of monoculture lawns. Very unnatural! I am trying to replace my lawn bit by bit with raised beds of various things. Eventually what's left I want to swap for other groundcovers that don't need mowing. That is my front yard, anyway. My back I have let become somewhat of a meadow. There is always something blooming there, which is intriguing.
When you try to call a Hibisucus a Bougainvilla (as has happened to me), you know it's time to quit...or at least back off...
Don't quit, just invent the names like everybody else.
Oopsie ???
I mix up Begonias and Geraniums all the time. Gah.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
