INteresting. I once had a book that detailed the soil conditions of many 'weeds'. The book showed how amending the soil can eliminate such things a dandelions. This post got me to thinking that it's not just the soil that is the problem. I water my gardens from a well, a well with alkaline water with some iron in it. I know some plants like Camellias and definitely Blueberries require acidic conditions so I use water I have collected during the winter. Despite pulling tons of Dandelions they seem to proliferate during the summer. This is the time I water everything. What to do?
