I'm binge watching Dr. Phil right now (kinda half-heartedly). One question came up that gave me some thought: what do you do to make your partner's day better?

Oh that's such a nice question. It really does depend on the person. When I knew my late husband was having a bad day, we would snuggle on the couch
With our favorite drinks and watch movies. I did have a boyfriend once that always wanted to talk, then I would run a hot bath and ask him to join me.

I dated and lived with a high school teacher for a few years, it is a stressful job. I would help grade papers at night, never expected him to do cooking or house work during the school year, but like he put it, when on summer break he was the kitchen bitch for me, and I gave him messages at least once a week. I also listened when he had a tough day at school and needed to vent and get another's perspectives of what may have happened.

Honestly, I have no clue. My wife has turned into being the hardest person to please. Nothing I do seems to make her day bay better. I'll cook, clean, and do the dishes, but she's always miserable.
