I can still remember the moment I fell in love with one of my greatest loves. Decades ago, that fellow Maker and I were sitting on a couch in a living room and we raised the palms of our right hands and matched them to one another, perfectly. It seemed to be a physical manifestation of how well we synched.
Do any of you have such a moment in your past? Some (perhaps) trivial little moment when you knew?

I forget what we decided to eat but afterwards, we both simultaneously burped (belched in Americanese?) loudly in spite of the crowded carriage and everything. We laughed and agreed if that ain't a forever-us-on-some-level moment then we don't know what is! 20 years on were still good friends with no social graces.

Yes. I had driven many hours to meet someone for dinner. After dinner we stopped at a grocery store to get ice cream. When asked her favorite flavor she replied rather sheepishly that it was butter pecan.
Of course it didn't work out. However she still means the world to me and I hope that we will be friends forever.

Had that happen to me just after me and the now ex gf hung out after our first break up..
We had been apart for about two months .. (dated others)
We were sitting talking and the question came up wondering if we still had chemistry..
I said close your eyes and lets find out ..
I grabbed her hand and a moment later it felt like a shock went thru me.. i opened my eyes and she had the same look on her face.
I was just doing it as a joke.. i guess its a real thing.
