What I crave the most is a connection. My long term goal is to find a very nice woman who that when we are apart, I think about her all the time and can't wait to see her and spend time with her. The dating process is the hard part to try and find what I desire.

Maybe, but if the sex part ain't there, you’re just friends. Don’t get me wrong. Friendship is important. But, I absolutely will not bond with someone in a romantic partnership if we’re not sharing the deliciousness, intimacy, and vulnerability of the sexual. This sentiment seems reductive because it tries to separate the physical, mental, and emotional. We’re integrated beings. Finally, some relationships are just (or really “mainly” since sex is never “just” ) about the sex and that can be great, too. Why must every one be THE one?

We are hard wired to nurture play mate and unplugging hugging playful joining is taking a strange road

@GreenAtheist What?

Damned....I had to move my glasses around to make sure those smudges were there!!!

true Physicality usually comes before the mental stimulate and bonds ,except for the pair of rare individuals where there is love at first site and both hit at the same time,winning combination

The brain is the biggest sexual organ.

Sex can be viewed as a short-term, temporary pleasure that gives a couple the opportunity to form a more durable, long-term bond.

Sex is great, of course, but there has to be more. Much as I love it, I can’t have sex all day! Well, not EVERY day, anyway. 😂. Car rides, talking, road trips, just doing quiet things around the house, running errands together...those lead to intimacy too.

I do not get all the compartmentalization the casual denial and romantic obsfucation of a complete's both pillow talk and shared pleasure...
It's shared cooking cleaning decorating AND FUN BATHING showering together....picking zits and feeling for routine careful observing massaging kissing our ouchies away.
..primate grooming and joyous self discovery.....the choice to make babies is intergenerational nurturing mammalhood....childless partners are leaving extra harvest for others

Which generation? Millennials report having less frequent partnered sex than older generations (they masturbate more). This link leads to a good critique of an article that gave reasons why. The bottom line is that people, married and single, may feel more free to make the choices that are best for themselves. []

That was a good article, thanks. I'm still processing.
As far as which generation, well...I wasn't really focusing on ages, rather attitudes.
But I'm not surprised at the findings that article presents. Makes sense.

I think there's more than just a germ of truth to this.
