I'm not going to generalize because I don't know but I was in similar position to your husband with my ex. Wasn't cancer but mental issues I had to support her through. Until I couldn't do it anymore.Basically, at some point in the shopping, working, housekeeping, hand holding I ceased being her husband and started being her caretaker.Great sex disappeared -partially my emotional response and partially her meds numbing her fun zone. Was I greedy and unfair -yup, Did I feel robbed and put upon? You betcha. Hopefully you two can get the counselling you should have to at least be able to identify where you both hurt. And remember, whether it was talked about, you both were staring a possible death in the face. That was a kick in the head for both of you, but I bet he had to be very brave and manish about it.
