The fact that it will be close is IN ITSELF a No-No for such an important decision which did NOT start 3 years ago. Various means are available to keep everyone talking until it is NOT close although some of them could be cruel. It is cruel already to businesses and split families. Peoples vote might force more considerations either way.

It will be very close...there are a few Tories in the ERG group of hardline Brexiteers who voted for the amendment on Saturday along with the DUP, but it appears that he is winning them round, probably with bribery of some sort!
