To those for whom father's day is a sad day...
Some of us have lost husbands who we would celebrate this weekend, and others have lost their own fathers or even children. My dad just passed in January. This weekend is doubly sad for my family. It might be so for a lot of us.
(((((((hugs)))))) y'all!

I don't know if this helps at all.... My first mothers day after my mother passed was torture. I decided then that I will not be held to someone else's calendar date to do something that should be an everyday occurrence. Unfortunately I have lost enough people in my life that I ask myself each time, if this were the last time I had with this person, am I satisfied with how I behaved toward them and is there anything I want them to know. The answer is not always the best, I think that helps me develop to be the person I want to be. Ok, maybe this Father's day is going to be a little sad because I miss him, but the last one, the one he was alive for, the one I made him laugh, that one was great.
