Does anyone else dream significantly about their lost loved one? I had someone tell me that so much of the healing that you experience will come from your dreams. Has anyone had a dream (s) that helped you in some way in your grieving process?

I had a dream where i felt my wife's presence and an overwhelming sense of love and then like she was releasing me and saying goodbye. It was lovely and I've held on to it. I miss her everyday but no longer dream of her.

Yes, about a month after he passed. It helped.

I only recall 3 dreams that he was in. 2 werent really "about" him, he was just in them. As his illness progressed we spent a lot of time in hospitals. In one dream, he had an overnight stay & he was waiting in the car with the kids for me to gather our things from the room. It was like we had totally moved in. There was food in the cupboards & clothes hanging in the closets. Grandkids sippy cups under the bed. Things like that. One of the kids would come in occasionally & say "Mom, you have to hurry, Papas waiting!" Another one was just a normal day. George was kicking back on the couch watching TV & I was cooking dinner. The kids were coming & going. That was hard to wake from & realize that it wasnt "normal" anymore. Only one dream he actually spoke to me. About 6 months after he died I dreamed I was just hanging out in some room in some house & he walked into the room. He looked great. I told him so. He said that he can look any way he wants to now. I said "So, youre okay then?" He said "Yeah, Im really good." I said " Okay, kiss me." I still remember his warm hug & sweet kiss. I did feel better after that, even though I still miss him so much it hurts.

No, I never remember any of my dreams.

I remember that I dreamed but never recall details

@TheDoubter Me too, I know that I must dream, we all do. I just never remember them.

My last dream was she had moved on like I was some annoying ex-boyfriend she didn't want anything to do with anymore. After that I moved on too.
