I know this sounds like a rationalization, but the great playwright Tennessee Williams once wrote that beginning at birth we are all sentenced to a life of solitary confinement.

@Huskygirl4ever thanks. pain dims, but memories don't fade

@Huskygirl4ever stay strong

@Huskygirl4ever look to the future. i am. you can find someone who wants to share that future. it won't be the same of course but it can be as rewarding. the memories will be part of your life but don't let a new reward escape. keep an eye open

@Huskygirl4ever why is there no promise? have you met anyone interesting? someone who could be more than a friend? have you met and rejected someone or are you waiting for a first-ever possibility?

@Huskygirl4ever you have to risk opening your heart if you want reciprocation. i can't believe you won't find thayt person.

@Huskygirl4ever start wth your head. make sure a guy is reliable, caring and committed. once you know him as a friend you can decide if there are deeper on your part and his.

@Huskygirl4ever OK. I hear you loud and clear. I wish you the best. If you have another topic, write me. always glad to chat.

I would write a life without someone, or perhaps a life in solitary. My other is gone and her death would have been even more difficult had she thought I would spend the rest of my days mourning for her.
