...gave my lawn one last trim today. It is now 50 F outside at about 7 PM Sunday evening... clear sky means a hard freeze is very likely tonight ...so it is time to harvest the last tomatoes and my bell peppers and the last rhubarb...

Who else remembers Polka hour usually on Sunday morning from a local AM radio station... my memory was WELY AM in Ely, Minnesota at our summer fishing lodge vacation... always fun to hear the Schmenge Brothers play traditional polka...
