No need to get into weird arguments if we do not automatically think of anything that could be related to sex as "obscene". Nipples are erotic and can stimulate sexually, and not just female nipples. Still, that is no reason to censor them or to think it is obscene to show them

Evolution doesn't care. Breast serve the purpose of making milk, ensuring the survival of babies. They also stimulate the males to be attracted to females ensuring that they have babies and make milk with the very same organs. In evolution the mammary tissue is an excellent example of multifunctional organs. Not exactly particularly sexy to be put this way but that is why they are so impressive to the male species. We are simply products of evolution as such we function as necessary to reproduce and procreate. Now I will try all this sexy talk with my wife and see how far it gets me.

They formed primarily to feed babies, but have developed into secondary sexual characteristics. Most adult males are not into "boobs" for the free lunch! I think you're on the right track. Breasts are typically the most (visually) obvious secondary sex characteristic in humans. They're basically an advertisement that says "This is a (genetic) female.". Men tend to be highly attuned to both sexual cues and visual cues, so it's a double whammy. I don't think the initial, base fixation is on the breasts themselves; I think its more about femaleness in general--subconsciously, of course. All kinds of justifications arise when the forebrain gets involved.

I like breasts, I like the sight of breasts, I like the taste of breasts, I like the feel of breasts and I really don’t care if their primary function is the nurturing of babies. I also find no problem with appreciating a woman’s form clothed or not. I think that’s only natural.

My grandfather told me that men liked boobs because they never got over the urge to suckle. But its a really tough call. Nipple stimulation causes the uterus to contract which helps the uterus to shrink down after giving birth. However, it also is pleasurable. So, what about the men who like women's tushes? I think it comes down to that we are all sexual beings who are wired differently, we need to respect each other's space and rights, and for Zeus' sake let the moms feed their babies when and where it is needed without getting your shorts in a wad. Well in Brazil, where I was born and raised. I saw women breastfeeding their babies anywhere...park, bus, beach very common nothing sexual about it...they usually would put a small cover so baby could sleep not for modesty...so yes breast can be for both depending on situation...do you know why in 3rd world countries women breastfeed their babies as long as they can? That might be the only milk they can afford...
