What famous person do people think you look like?
I've never been told I look anyone but myself but I have been called famous before. Lol
People used to say I looked like the late John Ritter. I never saw the resemblance.
I’ve been told at various stages of my life that I look like Bill Gates & Eric Clapton.
Hmmmm. Any random Asian actress or whatever. Cause you know, we all look alike. Dressed in one of my dance outfits, a friend’s daughter said I looked like Mulan.
Either way, you are gorgeous!
@Akfishlady I can be anything people want me to be it seems. When I’m in Mexico the locals think I’m Mexican. In a New Mexico pueblo they thought I was an indigenous person. Filipinos think I’m one of them. Malaysians think I’m one of them. In grade school my friends called me a geisha. Don’t know where that came from. My distant ancestry is supposed to be Chinese but I look nothing like a Chinese person. I suspect there might be mixing of DNA in my ancestry somewhere during the colonization periods.
@Akfishlady Thanks. I just learn these days to say thanks for nice comments. I don’t usually feel comfortable with nice things said to me.
When my hair was shaggier and the beard longer I have gotten mistaken for Uncle Sy of Dick Dynasty, several times.
With longer hair my siblings called me Cousin It from The Munsters
I look so much like Jackie Kennedy Onassis that people thought I was an actor playing her when I was an extra at the 2009 Secretariat movie shoot at Churchill Down in Louisville, KY.
People began mobbing me on the racetrack grounds, trying to get my autograph and rushing up to pose next to me for group selfies. Nobody listened to my protests and I finally realized that it didn't matter..all they wanted was Facebook bragging rights, so I finally played along!
It also happened, when, on a dare, I designed a slinky J-Lo type ballroom dance gown in 2003 and wore it to a dance in Lexington, KY.
While I was in the ladies' room at the dance, a mob of women caught sight of me and began yelling that I was some pop star who was going incognito, and they also didn't listen to my protests. When they began mobbing me, demanding my autograph, I did what they asked.
I don't think I've ever gotten a comparison. o.o
