Which state is most represented on this site. It may be that certain states are more vocal but assuming they're not....which is it?

I know which state seems to show up the most to me but would be interested what you think?

i have no idea! i know what state i'm in: confusion. also minnesota.

g

Confusion Minnesota I guess it beats Intercourse Pennsylvania.
I'm from Ohio

@oldFloyd the people of intercourse must be constantly explaining themselves. either that or they're constantly living up to their town's name.

g

@genessa I almost feel sorry for the guys and Blue ball, PA.

There are many Canadians!

Likely to be a LOT more Canadians over the next few years... unless Lyin' Trump builds a wall... and makes the Canadians pay for it. 😉

I am from canada

State of confusion?

7

It sure as hell isn't Georgia. LOL

6

I've seen a lot of people from Florida.

5

I have not run the numbers, but I bet it is a blue state.

There's a way to get an idea of this. It works in the mobile app and desktop browser. Just go to members, define your search to the widest parameters (any, all farthest distance, etc.) then execute the search and then click on "map view." In the map view you should see members displayed as markers. You'll need to uncheck all of the boxes at the top of the map window (dating, community only, and photos). This will display all members. It'll look like a cluster and it ain't pretty, but I think if you zoom in on each state you'll get an idea. I see no way to graph the data any logical way. Might be something to submit to @Admin. Hope this helps. =]

There's also a heat map view, but it's pretty useless. LOL! Go ahead and play around with it.

Ain't you clever!!!??!!
😉

@KKGator I used to work in IT. LOL! I can cook chicken piccata from scratch too! =]

@IAMGROOT I love a good chicken piccata. It's all about the capers. 😉

@KKGator -- I'm known far and wide for my capers.

@KKGator Oh yeah!

@IAMGROOT SNAP...I had never heard of Chicken Piccata until today and this is the second time today it has come across my radar. Anyway I digress....as usual 😀

@patchoullijulie It's DEE-Lish! =]

@IAMGROOT It sounds great so I am going to try it at some point. 😀

Perhaps conservative areas might be overrepresented here, due to there being a dearth of like-minded folk to converse with

Yes, I couldn't agree more. The fact we have to find others which not only empathise, but understand - a bit stupid and enraging; especially southern states. The fact there is a word for not believing in god(s) is nothing short of embarrassing as a species, I just hate having to congregate. On top of that, the religious right acts like Christians get intimidated or threatened for praying in public. 98% of me is glad they don't have to suffer the fear and closeted life we have to live... 2% of me wants them to feel what I've felt.

How many Christians (in this country) have been assaulted by five guys in a parking lot for nothing more than being a Christian? That happened to me for nothing more than being an atheist.

Wow... rant over. I needed that

@stinklizard first off. That's horrible you got assaulted. Second, I never even thought about that there's a name for something we're not. That there's a word for our natural state, the way we're born.

I’m from Texas, as are a lot of users, but Texas is the most populated state in the Bible Belt. It’s no wonder many of us need a judge free zone to communicate and express ourselves.

4

My 'impression' is Florida.

4

Not Texas.

3

Hrmm idk. Floriduh here.

3

Might be good to start an unofficial "poll" and have everyone just upvote their state and enter it as a comment if they don't see it already.

Florida here.

3

I think the higher population states are fairly well represented.

3

Wikipedia says the two LEAST religious states in the US, by %, are Vermont and New Hampshire. Near-impossible to say based on the site maps because some states are 20-30x the population of others.

2

I'm in Missouri. My bet would be one of the states on the west coast.

2

FLorida. Meh.

2

Wisconsin here. Don't know how many other unfortunates are representing this unfortunate place. It used to be a beacon of reason and integrity. Not anymore.

2

I'm one of about 20 members in Hawaii, though I've only seen 3 besides me ever post anything. Most seem inactive. So, pretty sure we're not the most vocal, except me, haha!

2

California here

2

I'm in Rhode Island!

2

I haven't given it much thought. I spent my 1st 41 years in Illinois, then moved around quite a bit. Now I live in Maine.

2

I see a ton of members from Pennsylvania, but very few active ones.

Any State away from HERE ?

2

I would guess Colorado or California

2

Ive really got no clue. Ive never noticed and retained enough peoples state in my head in quantities large enough to notice a pattern other than it sticking out when I notice a Tennesseean. Wouldnt say theres a lot of us but @admin could probably tell us the most densely occupied state if the "near me" map doesnt give us a good idea.
