I'm not really accusing you as that would imply that you've done something wrong. I don't think you're breaking any rules but I do think you're "gaming the system" by posting comments for the sole purpose of gaining points as opposed to generating topical debate or discussion.

Anything coveted will be sought after for pride as well as the actual reason the thing exists. I don't think "Level 8" is a worthwhile goal, but to be honest the very reason it was created was to generate posts when some individuals would not without the recognition. So I guess in the end everyone gets what they want, yet in this case nothing of value has been created.
