"When a man unprincipled in private life, desperate in his fortune, bold in his temper, possessed of considerable talents, having the advantage of military habits—despotic in his ordinary demeanour—known to have scoffed in private at the principles of liberty—when such a man is seen to mount the hobby horse of popularity—to join in the cry of danger to liberty—to take every opportunity of embarrassing the General Government & bringing it under suspicion—to flatter and fall in with all the nonsense of the zealots of the day—It may justly be suspected that his object is to throw things into confusion that he may ride the storm and direct the whirlwind.”

Anonymous: Election Rigged in Trump's Favor
I'm inclined to agree with FS. The voting machines and/or tabulating equipment probably were not hacked. The US electoral system is very distributed, is different in every state and county, and has lots of protections. Also, most counties use paper ballots, which facilitate accurate auditing and recounts. That being said, the deluge of pro-Trump mis- and dis-information on Twitter and other platforms, as well as the massive voter suppression tactics employed by Republicans, in my opinion, qualify as hacking. Bottom line: Trump stole the election.

Key points in the video:
Kamala lost by around 3 million votes.
5 million voters (mostly Black people) were wrongly removed from the voter rolls.
One woman successfully challenged over 30,000 voters, got them removed from the rolls in Georgia.
Voter suppression works!
We're still living under Jim Crow!
See "Vigilantes Inc."
Note that almost 90 million eligible voters did not vote in the last election. So we have a lot of work to do.
@Flyingsaucesir This is what Democracy looks like:
Of the 90 million who didn't vote and those who voted for Trump, you wonder how many of them don't know what it is like to live in a oligarchical dictatorship, Putin and Trump want them to find out.
@nogod4me I'd say the vast majority of people who voted for His Felonious Malignancy have no idea what it's like to live to live under a Russian-style, kleptocratic, authoritarian, oligarchy. And those who do, they think that they will be treated better because of their fawning loyalty to the big guy. This latter group is in for a surprise: Trump doesn't give a shit about them. He will just as soon grind them into dust as look at them.
I like some of these posts and takes on it all. Of course, I'm still wondering how you are able to post here. My recent post to this group went up and I could see it, then later that day it disappeared.
I able to comment within others posts but not able to make a post.
I posted this same content half a dozen times and it disappeared within minutes to hours every time except for the last time. Sorry, I don't have a better explanation for you.
@Flyingsaucesir # Does this not make you proud to be American?
“GENOCIDE IN GAZA with Israeli rapes even on the children”. Chilling UN Dossier
Terrifying Accuses over war crimes by Netanyahu's Army supported by Zionist Trump

Human rights investigators who reported to the United Nations Human Rights Council said that sexual and gender-based violence by Israeli security forces against Palestinians, including children, has been increasingly used “as a method of warfare” after the attacks of 7 October 2023 that triggered the war in Gaza».
Thus begins the summary of the dossier published yesterday, 13 March 2025, on the official website of the United Nations (link between sources) which confirms abominable war crimes committed by the Israeli Army led by the Zionist regime of Benjamin Netanyahu and therefore reiterates the validity of the international arrest warrant issued against him by the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
The report is a punch in the stomach to the rulers of his allies in the USA, Donald Trump, and Italy, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni supported by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, who had already received an indirect slap from Pope Francis, adamant in condemning the genocide in Gaza although in a reserved prognosis in hospital for a serious form of pneumonia.
While in the West the killings of the hostages kidnapped by Hamas on 7 October 2023 and sporadic cases of rape never documented in detail by independent investigations have had a vast echo, the bodies of children and adults, tied up, sometimes beheaded and with human organs removed for the black market of transplants, found in the mass graves of Khan Younis have found space only in counter-information newspapers such as Gospa News.
Now to those horrors confirmed by unequivocal photos, to the massacre of defenseless children and their mutilation is added the grim practice of serial rapes.
Given the seriousness and sensitivity of the complaint coming from the United Nations, we limit ourselves to reporting the article.
Rape increasingly used as a method of war
“Israel has increasingly employed sexual, reproductive and other forms of gender-based violence against Palestinians as part of a broader effort to undermine their right to self-determination,”maintained Chris Sidoti from the Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT).
Speaking in Geneva, the human rights lawyer said that “the frequency, prevalence and severity of sexual and gender-based crimes perpetrated across the OPT leads the Commission to conclude that sexual and gender-based violence is increasingly used as a method of war by Israel to destabilize, dominate, oppress and destroy the Palestinian people”.
Established by the Council in May 2021, the Commission has a mandate to investigate and report on alleged violations of international law in the OPT, including East Jerusalem – and in Israel.
Terror attacks in Israel
Previous reports have covered in detail the terror attacks on Israeli villages and towns on 7 and 8 October by Hamas-led Palestinian armed fighters that killed around 1,250 people and left more than 250 taken as hostages back to Gaza.
Publication of the Commission’s report followed two days of public hearings held in Geneva from 11 to 12 March, featuring victims and witnesses of sexual and reproductive violence and medical personnel who assisted them, as well as civil society representatives, academics, lawyers and medical experts.
Mr. Sidoti said that the Commission had made several requests to the Israeli authorities for information on specific, serious cases of sexual and gender-based violence against Palestinian prisoners taken from Gaza.
But no information has been provided about prosecutions of members of the Israeli security forces or Israeli settlers for sexual and violence committed since October 2023, he told journalists.
Explicit orders and ‘implicit encouragement’
In a statement accompanying the release of the Commission’s report, it asserted that “forced public stripping and nudity, sexual harassment including threats of rape, as well as sexual assault” were “standard operating procedure” of the Israeli Security Forces toward Palestinians.

“Other forms of sexual and gender-based violence, including rape and violence to the genitals, were committed either under explicit orders or with implicit encouragement by Israel’s top civilian and military leadership,” the report maintained.”
“We heard evidence – you would have heard it if you were looking at our hearings during the last two days – where men and boys were forced to strip wholly or almost wholly, that is down to underpants and then were kept in that condition, often having to sit on stones on the ground in the cold in winter for up to three days.”
@vocaloldfart It's a shame you had to waste so much verbiage on a non sequitur, but okay, we can change the subject from Trump's treason to Netanyahu's genocide and Biden's blind loyalty to a wayward ally, if it makes you feel good.
If you're at all familiar with my writing, you know that I have always acknowledged my country's flaws. Yet I love it anyway, warts and all. I love the potential that it holds. I love that our Constitution calls for equal rights and equal protections no matter a persons race, color, or creed. I love the fact that free speech, rule of law, and separation of church and state are among our bedrock principles. I love the fact that we keep striving to live up to the Constitution (and the Declaration of Independence) in spite of bigoted, violent, and reactionary dumb asses who constantly try to pull us backwards. It's a beautiful experiment in self governance.
The Trump/MAGA cult represents a step backwards; one that could potentially end the American experiment. (That's what this post about.)
That being said, I don't think it's fair to lay the blame for crimes committed by members of the IDF on the USA. Those were not American soldiers in Gaza. Not that American soldiers haven't also done some pretty terrible stuff in the past. In fact, pretty much every time there's a war, anywhere in the world, no matter what countries are involved, civilians bear the brunt of it. Also, do you seriously think that if the USA had not supplied Israel with weapons, most of which were defensive weapons that can shoot down incoming rockets, missiles, and drones fired by the enemies that kinda surround Israel, they would not have found other sources and continued on prosecuting the war with Hamas anyway? The world is awash in weapons. All it takes is money. And hindsight is 20-20, not that it takes a genius to know that trying to settle disputes by putting automatic weapons in the hands of teenagers is generally a shitty idea, no matter where the war is happening or who is involved. Whenever the Pandora's box of war is opened, all kinds of ugliness comes out. It has ever been thus. And what was October 7 but a flinging open of that box of horrors?
@Flyingsaucesir just pointing out that Thumpians are practicing an age old farming tradition like fishing , hunting etc. The Us is now complicit in harvesting human organs for profit and removing a population from their land.
Good business.
I wonder if there is a tariff on that?
I had to post here as I tried to post in multiple other groups, including in General and Hellos.
@vocaloldfart First I've heard about organ harvesting. Sounds apocryphal.
I would not pay too much attention to that nonsense about turning Gaza into Club Med. It's most likely just a distraction, so we don't see that he's got his other hand in the till.
@vocaloldfart Doesn't it make you proud to be a Trumpanzee supporting Putin the dictator and terrorist sending troops to Ukraine to rape and murder civilians as well as sending drones, glide bombs and missiles to bombard civilians that are not only far from the frontlines but nowhere near military infrastructure?...
As well as the man pushing Israel to finish the Genocide in Gaza so he can build a resort there?...
Cliff Cash
Yup, yup, yup! What the guy says about Elon and Putin is all true. I am absolutely loving the spectacle of Tesla, Space X, and Twitter X tanking. Well, maybe Space X not so much, since those rockets and satellites technically belong to the American people. We paid for them with our tax dollars.
@Flyingsaucesir When SpaceX does tank guess who gets control?....
@Lizard_of_Ahaz Good question. I don't know.
@Flyingsaucesir The US government.... That will restore NASA.
@Lizard_of_Ahaz Sounds good to me. Much better than Melon Husk.
@Flyingsaucesir I bet that if NASA does take over the first launch of the "Starship" after they do is perfect instead of blowing up...
@Lizard_of_Ahaz This is what Democracy looks like:
Of the 90 million who didn't vote and those who voted for Trump, you wonder how many of them don't know what it is like to live in a oligarchical dictatorship, Putin, Trump and Elon want them to find out.
Trump is no prize, however compared to Harris he was the obvious choice.
You are entitled to your own opinion, however puerile, putrid and pathetic it may be.
Obviously stupid choice perhaps....
@Lizard_of_Ahaz If my choice disagrees with yours, I am proven to be correct.
@Flyingsaucesir I'd ask you what talent Kamala revealed, but I'm not in the mood for a joke at the moment.
@Alienbeing Not in a mood? Well maybe this will cheer you up: talent revealed!
@Alienbeing
She wasn't a complete moron like Trump is... not much of a talent granted but it is something and a low bar at best...
@Alienbeing Funny how so many Trump voters are disagreeing with you and admitting that it was the dumbest thing they ever did in a life filled with stupid decisions....
What about the crook who conspires with our enemies and Uber wealthy to take over the country to rob it and stay out of jail? Hamilton missed that one type of unprincipled Russian plant the same as he missed Aaron Burr.
Touché!
How little of that describes the Dumpster child as he has all of the vices but none of the talents Hamilton described....
Well, the way I read it, it suits His Felonious Malignancy to a (golf) tee.
I'll try to explain what I mean.
Notice where Hamilton writes, "... having the advantage of military habits --..." He then goes on to list those habits: despotic, scoffing. Ya see, back in the day, they didn't use parentheses like we do today; they were into dashes. So "military habits" here is not really a compliment.
He does the same thing with "mount the hobby horse of popularity --...." He gives us a list of base and immoral actions: "...join the cry of danger to liberty; embarrass the government; flatter and fall in with the nonsensical zealots. It's a litany of depravity, and it describes Trump perfectly, imho.
@Flyingsaucesir Hamilton does NOT list those as "military habits" and if you read the quote carefully you will notice that he is just adding them to define a lack of character... The ones you think he is calling military habits are undesirable in any free society and especially so in any military defending it. the only "military habit" the Dumpster has is dodging the draft which he has done 5 times...
@Lizard_of_Ahaz Yes, indeed, to be despotic and to scoff at liberty are undesirable traits.
@Lizard_of_Ahaz I wish we had Hamilton here so we could ask him what exactly he meant. It would also be great to get his reaction to what Trumputin and his minions are up to.
@Flyingsaucesir Probably the same thing he did with Arron Burr.... Challenge him to a duel...
@Lizard_of_Ahaz I think it was Burr who challenged Hamilton. Hamilton had been making disparaging remarks about Burr. Apparently Burr was a man of low character; a self-promoting self dealer. Much in the vein of our own orange foolius.
@Flyingsaucesir True but he did accept and Trump is far worse than Burr ever considered becoming...
@Lizard_of_Ahaz Both of them had been involved in duels before.
Indeed, Trump has outdone them all in terms of depravity and hypnotic power over imbeciles.
PS I have amended my previous tag (above).
@Flyingsaucesir I for one would love to see the Whitehouse see a hantavirus outbreak that infected the entire MAGA leadership there... including Kennedy....
@Lizard_of_Ahaz I would settle for a virulent strain of COVID-19.
@Flyingsaucesir Mortality rate is too low and besides those dolts have all been vaccinated but there is NO vaccine for the hantavirus....
You aren't thinking big enough the hantavirus has a 50% mortality rate WITH medical care...
@Lizard_of_Ahaz Okay, but the thing is, since there is no vaccine, Hanta would kill lots of people who aren't MAGAts. Too much collateral damage, because it wouldn't stay confined to just the WH, or Mar-a-Lago.
@Flyingsaucesir It would be transmitted to Musk and his minions... as well as taking out most of the billionaire class as well... They are no longer allowing the voters anywhere near themselves out of fear...
Man, as in human, has tried to govern itself using differing ideologies. Chiefs, Monarchy's, dictatorships, democracy's, authoritarian, feudal, theocratic societies etc. Capitalism, Socialism and Communism were also variants employed by the various ideologies to varying degrees.
Communism is a failed ideology.
Capitalism is a failing ideology. as consumer driven globalisation is failing. We are living the end game.
What does the end of democratic Capitalism look like? It's when government stops representing peoples interest in favour of business interest. When businesses are enabled to have rights, voting rights or the ability to influence outcomes. Corruption of public representatives. Plus the fact that a consumer driven society in a finite world is not sustainable.
It was bound to happen, just another failed human ideology. We will work out something different and BRICS seems to be the vehicle of change.
Socialism looks after the most vulnerable and gives us National Parks, recreation areas, library's and museums. But it also allows Capitalist enterprise, the chance to get ahead which drives innovation, the major flaw of Communism, not rewarding initiative/ innovation. Communism treated all the same which sounds nice but doesn't work.
I like socialism as it is the middle ground between Communism and Capitalism, adopting the best features of both whilst rejecting the worse.
So to stop dribbling, Trump is a symptom of Capitalism's end game. If not him, a personality like him would have risen to the top of the shit heap. One with delusions of grandeur with fascist tendencies.
Actually, dictatorships are as old as the hills. Trumpty Dumpty is a throwback, a dinosaur.
And I would not characterize the USA or any of our developed allies as a "shit heap." Self-rule is a relatively new thing, and so far, it has been wildly successful. Witness the expanding human population, and the doubling of the average human lifespan over the last 100 years.
If you are so unhappy with your lot in life, I recommend you seek professional help.
@Flyingsaucesir I meant shit heap as the human shit pile. Our societies have become decadent and hooked on war. We have seen this before when empires, not the USA but Western European colonisers, us whities, and the nations their colonisation formed. The Western Empire, that is the one that is descending. The Romans descended into orgies and circuses. Well, we have opened up sexuality to "anything goes" and "shock and awe" festivities ourselves. Past our prime, decending into shitheapism.
So glad I grew up in our Western societies prime, late sixties early 70's hippy prime imho. I'm quite happy with life thanks for being concerned. Not into therapy in Oz, we go to a pub.
@puff Well put Andrew
@puff You certainly have a jaundiced view of humanity. In my experience, most people are not bad. But a bad one with a talent for demagoguery can stir up mob to do unspeakable things. They can do a lot of damage before they finally wind up hanging from a lamp post, or crumpled in their bunker, or face down in the sand trap by the 9th hole,...
@Flyingsaucesir There he goes with his stupidity ranting about his precious BRICS again... Kind of like Trump he has no real idea what it is or why it doesn't work...
