I agree, but most importantly we need to get rid of the systems that allow this and similar indecencies to happen instead of taking time to celebrate it on days like today or the 4th of Jew-lie. If we were truly equal, there wouldn't be something like money enticing people into atrocious activities.

This is so criminal it makes me sick. Missing immigrant children really need to be investigated. I am a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer assigned to specific cases of children in the court system making sure they are being cared for properly and are no in danger. Everyone of these immigrant children need to have someone who watches out for them. More people need to step up to the plate and check out becoming a CASA volunteer. There just aren't enough of us.

Yes, it's definitely appalling. I also wonder what kind of horrors are happening in the detention centers. Rarely if ever hear or see anything about them on the news.

Okay. How? Where does the average person with no money, no power, and no connexions even start? We scream at our 'elected' officials until we're blue in the face only to be told point blank that they aren't listening and don't care. We cast ballots only for those votes to be ignored. What's the next step?

Unless we all show up to the borders, en masse, and demand a stop be put to ALL this bullshit, it's going to continue.
Although, if we did do that, it's quite likely we'd be shot instead of the traffickers.
The Border Patrol doesn't care, the "administration" doesn't care, ICE doesn't care, and most people don't care. I'm seeing a lot of sentiment being displayed (not here, but
elsewhere), that it's the immigrants' own fault for bringing their children with them to the borders.
Immigration, illegal and otherwise, has been made into the "boogeyman".
Too many people believe it's as a big a problem as we're all being told it is.
They don't care about whatever hell these people are being subjected to, both at the borders, and in the countries they're trying to get away from.
They don't care about the conditions they're trying to escape. They want to deny them
the opportunity to seek a better life.
That would require actually learning about other parts of the world, which is way more
effort than most of them are willing to expend.
Anything south of the US border is irrelevant to an awful lot of ignorant Americans.
Sad, but true. It's all pretty damned appalling.

It's happening everywhere! Sold into domestic& sex slavery. The U.K. is full of criminal gangs from all over Europe plying this Trade.Apart from Cyber Crime it's the fastest rising crime.

So we also need to get rid of an administration that places more importance on a wall than these type of situations and blames them for the problem.
