This story reminds me of another story that happened here in North Carolina years and years ago. A man who is stuck in traffic accelerated and caused a multi vehicle accident. The reason why, according to him,

Christians always seem to test 'god,' to try an prove his existence to others and themselves! That alone may be a sign they 'really' don't believe! I always wonder about people like this who have something horrible happen to them, like getting an aggressive cancer. That must be emotional torture. They either have to believe they were wrong their whole lives or that their faith was weak. And still face the cancer.
