Tried? No. I have seen similar photos, usually in adds for "special rose seeds," or some such .
Those were outright fraud. I always thought that was photo-shopped, as there is no rose gene for actual blue. But if it is just a way of dying with food color, it looks intriging. If that stem is split, though, that rose isn't going to last long.
