It's not glory hun. When we are hurt, or broken we grow in immense leaps and bounds. We don't want to do it all the time because we want to have fun too but a balance of life's lessons and good times is what we hope to achieve over our lifetime. 
That’s beautiful. I appreciate the broken parts. We all have some cracks in us from things we’ve gone through in life.

my heart was broken 20 years ago. Still single with a few cracks left. I don't expect miracles now at 77 years of age, Life goes on.
I have often compared the broken that we feel we are to the Japanese art of Kintsugi. Each time our heart breaks whether leaving a hole or shattered into a million pieces. It gets put back together with gold filling making it a unique and beautiful work of art.
