Persistent in never giving up your goal but be wise enough when a women says NO,Thank her for her time and move on to the next ,be consistent in the respect for your self and others in your journey
I guess I was thinking more like "persistent at improving and doing better" should eventually yield good results, not just persistently hoping someone else comes around to you. But of course, no means no! No explanation needed.
yes one usually does improve with being persistent,,that is part of the journey
I totally agree about consistency, but the first part about persistence can be easily misunderstood. I wish the following were obvious, but it isn't to some:
Don't persist with someone who feels no chemistry with you. No amount of persistence will create chemistry. Acting otherwise risks making you a creep or a stalker. Real life isn't like the movies where the dogged guy finally gets the girl who originally disliked him. That makes for entertainment but it rarely happens for real. Rather, your persistence should be directed more broadly - as in "don't give up on yourself" and "don't be afraid to put yourself out there."
Very true!
You left out "if you are lucky"....because there are those who have followed these rules..and still haven't "gotten it" "nor do they "keep it".
