Although it might seem counter intuitive I think you are more likely to have sex on a first date with someone that you don't see as a possible mate but just as a fuck buddy.

It depends on the era, the age, the culture (country) and the person you're going out with. There's no rules. I had casual sex with women on a first date, but I waited like three months with my actual wife because although she was very hot I didn't want to spoil the romance with looking too desperate, plus she was young...

Playing hard to get is an option...but confusion sets in when its a "no." It can get quite testy when she thinks rubbing themselves on you will change your mind.....
