Communication is key in any relationship. How you speak to each other about any issues you have is so important. Speak calmly, openly and, here's the important part, IMMEDIATELY. Don't leave any issue unspoken. Unresolved issues can begin small but grow and fester over time causing resentment and frustration. Then when it does eventually come to a head it will cause a much bigger argument than it ever needed to and put a strain on your relationship. If you have an issue or issues deal with them now!!!

I think I have a favorite meme about communicating with anger and hostility....

I've sent this meme to an off and on...and off lover...nice person, usually; who's taught me a lot...but I draw the line at profanity...so she's not in my life these days...

And if lack of communication , IS the problem ? If your partner chooses not to communicate - doesn't listen , chooses not to respond ?
