I did not find a group for grieving for a child. I did see a few post here for folks who lost a spouse as they had exited the relationship. Between the two events in my life, I joined. My ex left 3 years ago after almost 43 year and four wonderful children. Our third child, and youngest daughter, passed away last week at 39 years. It was not unexpected but still very tough. One should not outlive their children. I grateful for our 39 years thanks to medical advances and organ donation. I have found some of the post and photos here helpful. Thanks for that and I do have a long ways to go.
She was as me re religion and specific re her post death arrangements. My ex and I had some minor disagreement re her wishes but they were written and fully discussed with and supported by her siblings so was easier and all done per her wishes to date. Last is to spread her ashes at her favourite place and that will be later this year.
Anyway, thanks for the helpful items here. I will continue to read those that strike a chord with me. Thanks

So very sorry for the loss of your beloved child. Any loss of a loved one is hard, but it seems to me that losing a child is most devastating. Please know the people in this group are here for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's very hard to lose a child.

I lost a child during pregnancy - and that was not an easy thing. I can only imagine the heartache of knowing that child.. compounding the pain of loss.
