I am reading this different than everyone else. You stated you had been out on 6 or 7 dates over 6 months but only listed 5 dates over 6 months. That math is a date a month or more. If it were me, no we are not dating, I am going out with a friend. Dates & dating, to me, are synonymous with a monogamous relationship with more time spent together. Ie. dinner, drives, movies etc at least several times a week not once a month.
