If you could live anywhere in the world except your homeland, where would that be?

Well, I chose USA to live in....My homeland is Argentina.

Why would that be?

No for political / money reasons but for very personal ones.-

2

I would visit all the countries you guys mentioned (some I already did) but to live.....USA.

3

My homeland is in Vietnam. I'm in America now. I would want to go to Japan or Sweden.

No country is perfect, my dream has been always USA, and truly I am happy to be here. Of course, people may think that US is the worst, but you know the saying that the grass is always green on the other side? Well, my heart is in US. Nowhere else.

You been wrong before.

Iceland is beautiful and interesting country. New Zealand sounds nice.

Northern Territory, Australia

Iceland or New Zealand

@VictoriaNotes Dont worry we havent had one in a few hours 😉 lol. We have one of those Alert systems for your phone like Hawaii does, not for nuclear bombs but for earthquakes and tsunamis.

@Sacha and @VictoriaNotes,Both nations have earthquakes but less people and social problems than most place other places and are equally good choice should I have to move from my preferred home. The thing is that there are a lot of choice that are here in Canada as well its nice to live in a really big nation with a low population.

@VictoriaNotes Interesting not long after you mentioned this about earthquakes, this link came up on my facebook [charlie-mitchell.carto.com] 10 years of earthquakes in New Zealand in 10 seconds

@VictoriaNotes , Unfortunately Canada is not devoid of people willing to make stupid choices but, it lacks the rabid crazy found in a lot of the States. Harper tried to change this and failed as the conservative will always do. Things like healthcare and the social safety net are things that the average Canadian takes for granted make it really difficult for conservatives to touch. We also have provinces with socialist governments that won't play ball with the likes of Harper.

@VictoriaNotes , Yes, Scheer is waiting in the wings he is a social conservative and is best described as Harper with a smile. I live in one of those evangelical pockets with estimates that they make up 30% of Alberta's population.

Either Canada or New Zealand.

Spain.

Probably Slovenia as I have cousins there, or Italy. Or Greece? Australia? Amsterdam?

3

Canada (where I grew up), Australia, or New Zealand. I am seriously thinking about moving to Canada due to rump. I wish I had taken out Canadian citizenship when I could have... 20/20 hindsight.

That's a good one. I really like Montreal and Toronto. I would more likely live in Toronto. Either that or Berlin Germany since I liked visiting there back in 2015.

2

Ireland, Sweden or Switzerland!

2

It's a tossup between Australia, or Germany. Both countries appeal to me.

2

Probably Holland but I do plan on spending a year in Japan after I graduate.
Unfortunately I can't stay any where else because I can't leave my car. It's an old sports car and I have spent too much time restoring it to just abandon it lol

Thinking of leaving this 'shit-hole' country to move to Norway. 😉 Hope nobody else made this joke but I wasn't going to search through 60+ posts!

I was gonna give you thumps up but you made it a joke.

Ooh, that is tough. I live in the UK, so that's tough to beat. I prefer cooler climates, but I have a thing for brunettes. I'm proficient in French and Spanish. So... I'd probably say France. A variety of climates, hot girls and I know the lingo. Places like Norway and the Netherlands are just too full of blondes.

Some tropical island. I love the beaches. I love warm days and nights. Hawaii would be nice. There are some gorgeous beaches in Mexico. Some lovely Greek islands. What a beautiful planet. It's got some amazing places to visit and to live in. Difficult questions. We best not fuck up our planet. I'd like to at least see some more of places.

Right now I’m thinking Switzerland for a combination of mountains, high standard of living, and maybe being somewhere where I could fit in at work, but that’s a pre-research answer. There are probably plenty of places I could fit in if the working and social environments were right.

Lots of good plastic surgeons in Venezuela, and, Colombia. I did some research.

Denmark, Sweden, Finland would be on the top of my list. As a civil engineer, I am appalled at the state of our infrastructure (USA). Roads, bridges, etc. We just don't take good care of what we have.
