Life... a happy life requires balance. That's something I have only learned in the last few years.

We need to redefine successful, or at least define it for ourselves, not what "society" or "TV" deems success is. I have achieved success in many areas of my life. My success is 3 adult kids who are good citizens and just awesome good people, and people I truly like to spend time with. I have created things that will live on after me and give other people pleasure. I have helped people, both in my professional life and my private life. I do not earn a huge income, and I don't drive a fancy car. I am not model thin, and I don't live in a huge house. I don't consider myself pretty. But I'm real which I think is more important, and I'm kind, I'm smart, and I'm living my life on my terms. I consider my life a success. If anyone disagrees they can kiss my not so tiny hiney.

You go girl!

And stop comparing yourself to the Kardashians.

Good point! ?

successful? what is this "successful"? and why is it important? lose the ego and many of the problems disappear.

Don't you think that's what they're getting at?
