ELIZABETH WARREN IS RISING IN VOTER INTEREST IN HER CANDIDACY

It is being reported that democratic voters are preferring Elizabeth Warren over Biden. She has already left Bernie Sanders behind.

I used to blame her for being just a policy wonk but I am changing my mind because of the following:

  1. Personal Interaction with Voters - She is great in personal interaction, so much better than Biden and Sanders. She took 4 hours to spend time to voters to do selfies after her recent town hall. She gives a detailed and straight answer to voters questions, not one that is evading and polished by advisers which are standard politically correct answers of the campaign.
  2. She is showing a Command on Issues - She is a thinker and not just a puppet candidate trained and prepared by the campaign. She is aware of the history and the latest developments of an issue.
  3. She is a Great Debater - Donald Trump is also called a strong debater but unlike him, she makes good points and comes across as a nice lady and likable leader. She does not leave a bad taste in your mouth after speaking like Trump does.
  4. She is a Perfect Match for Trump in Debates - I would love to see the revenge of the Pocahontas against Trump. Trump has degraded and insulted her and I am feeling that women really want her to rise and face Trump and she show him his place. Trump can destroy frail Biden and Sanders but Warren will face Trump very strongly. That is also underneath her rise.
  5. She is not a One Issue President - Unlike Sanders, she is showing expertise on various policies. She has issued most policy papers than any candidate so far.

The race is now for a strong horse, not for Mr. Nice Guy. Voters are desperate for a winnable candidate, not a virtuous candidate with good issues. Warren has more favorable ratings than Sanders for sure and also than Biden.

I am rooting for her. What do you think?

Whoever wins the democratic nomination gets my vote.

I am an Elizabeth Warren supporter but yes, I am voting for the Democratic Party nominee regardless who it is.

@slydr68 Maybe a good Rueben but not a ham sandwich.

@Seeker3CO For many, there is no difference. But democracy shouldn't just be a passive shopping choice.

So far I think she'd make a better president than anyone else who wants the job. She's smart, is a good administrator (huge part of running a country) and has the rare ability to be understood on complex issues without overly dumbing things down (much like Carl Sagan was able to do).

She understands both the benefits and risks of a capitalism based economy and has good ideas on how to regulate the worst parts of it without destroying the parts of it that actually work.

I wanted her to run in 2016 but oh no, the dems already had thier follow up candidate to break the glass ceiling after putting a black man in the WHITE house. Fuckers

But best of all, I think she'd actually be able to make Donald walk off the debate stage on national tv. He'd never live down turning tail and running from a woman with his base - it'd be awesome and swing the election.

You are so right on all points. Right on the mark.

@jorj yes, it's a hope. He's a bully and I don't think she'll be bullied by him, and can turn the tables on him. He won't be able to take it.

That's if he even decides to attend the debate. His camp knows she'll mop the floor with him.

@jorj well aren't you a special kind of enabler. The only reason he hasn't been brought down yet is because of #moscowmitch, and even he's starting to see the writing on the wall.

I think she could be the hero we need after trump. If dems win the majority in the Senate we could really turn things around. It would be nice to hear things are happening in a good way for a change. I’ve been in a depression since trump has been turning the world into shit! Global Warming a hoax, environmental issues, tax cuts for the rich, turning our allies against us, trade wars, and just making us look ridiculous to the rest of the world. Just wish we could do something about the Supreme Court the Republicans stole. Still burns my butt they can get away with what they did to Merrick Garland. Elizabeth Warren has always been against big money and that has been the big problem of our government. I hope she can find a way to get the people behind changing the way the government is influenced by money. If enough people do it the government and the courts have to listen to “We the People”!

This is what the DNC does.... They take a corporate tool and pretend that tool is progressive and then commits fraud in the primary so you will have a choice between bad and fucking awful.... In 2016 they did this remember when Hillary "beat" Bernie?... Well it is happening again. 85% of Democratic voters want Bernie's Medicare for All plan but since Wall Street doesn't they are trying to force Warren on us to create a Welfare for Wall Street program instead. The real problem is most voters are going to be stupid enough to think this is a good idea because "she has a plan for that" when her plan is more of YOUR tax dollars being used to pay for heathcare insurance policies from for profit corporations that fucked up out healthcare system to start with.
Her plan is not much better than Kamala Harris's plan of "selling Medicare plans to everyone" slowly over the next 10 years as well as taxing you more to cover the costs.
FYI Warren's plan will leave you hanging for things like 3K a year in copays for a single person and 6K a year for families. Maybe you should read up on just what her plans are instead of just parroting her slogan "she has a plan for that..."

It is not about dissecting issues now. It about who can win. It is not certainly Bernie.

I think it doesn't really matter which candidate wants which kind of healthcare because who ever is elected will get to either veto or pass into law the heathcare plan Congress agrees on and gives to the president.

@St-Sinner Warren has nothing behind her but corporate funding and is a one issue candidate. This is why the DNC has REFUSED to impeach Trump or even rein him in because he is their best chance of winning the Whitehouse for their Wall Street favorite. Bernie has more than 1 million donors to his campaign and Warren has less than a quarter that number. She is now off to 43 different closed door high dollar fundraisers with Biden and Harris. They are playing you for a fool and you are letting them win....
"Warren has brought in a whopping $17 million from small donors, 48 percent of her campaign funds. Sanders is in a different league, collecting 60 percent — $28 million — from small donors.

Sanders calls himself a democratic socialist. Warren has called herself a “capitalist to my bones.” Sanders is calling for a “political revolution” to upend the political and economic status quo. Warren wants to help rebuild the Democratic Party’s damaged campaign arm that sought to undermine Sanders in 2016. "
[opensecrets.org]

@St-Sinner, @dare2dream I suggest you look up the term "Bully pulpit" and Teddy Roosevelt and stop believing corporate garbage....

@St-Sinner, @dare2dream As for you both I suggest you both READ their plans on things like Healhcare reform, education, and the environment because the only one with his shit together is Sanders....

@St-Sinner I think I heard that exact argument in 2016....

@AtheistReader You nailed it anything to keep the billionaire donors happy right?... Kind of like the one in LA who keeps feeding drugs to Male prostitutes and overdosing them. He got caught again and it is really unlikely he will be able to buy his way out this time no matter how much he donates to Warren and the DNC.... Last time he was backing Hillary in her 2016 run.....

@AtheistReader True because winnability is very important, not just being good. I admit that Hillary was a terrible candidate but Bernie would be a loss for the history books we would not have recovered in 2020 or 2024. Would;ve made us wonder if Michael Dukakis was a better candidate in history.

@St-Sinner When Warren only has a quarter the number of donors that Bernie has and Bernie has more donors that Trump does who is more electable?... Because it sure as hell isn't Warren who is no on a circuit with Harris and Biden sucking Billionaire cock for cash....

Randall -

Just a short while ago, our campaign reached 1 million individual contributors — and we did it earlier than any campaign in history, including our own in 2016.

I am very proud of that fact. As one of those contributors, you should be too.

This is historic. We are also the only Democratic candidate with more individual contributions than Donald Trump, which shows we are the movement that can best defeat him.

Reaching this important milestone proves that one can run for president without racing all around the country begging millionaires and billionaires for campaign contributions at high-dollar fundraisers.

That number proves that when candidates for president speak honestly and authentically about the problems and the needs of working people and young people in this country, they will respond.

That is what we are doing on this campaign, and it is why we are going to win.

But winning this election will require more than just a record number of contributions — although that is certainly something we will need to continue to push for as we end this critical FEC fundraising quarter.

Winning this election will require people of all backgrounds and all communities talking to their friends and talking to strangers about the stakes in this election, and how our campaign is the one building a movement capable of not just defeating Donald Trump, but transforming our nation.

And all this week, supporters are joining Plan to Win events all across this country. So I am asking:

Can you attend a Plan to Win event in your area? Here’s the closest one to you:

Bernie 2020 Plan to Win Party!
Sunday, September 22
Event starts at 6:00 p.m.
1107 E Pennsylvania Ave
Redlands, CA 92374

@St-Sinner "Winnability" is a fuzzy concept, often just a code word for "moderate" at best and "status quo" at worst.

It was the "winnability" of HRC that got us in this trouble in the first place. It was thought that Trump was not winnable by the Republicans in 2016. They were wrong, and they are celebrating that they were wrong.

Democrats are still stuck in "winnablility" where the Repubs have left that bus.

@AtheistReader Hillary was a bad candidate but less terrible than Bernie in 2016.

Even today Bernie does not belong in the Democratic party. He chose to be independent for decades, now he suddenly wants to be on the Democratic ticket to get to the white house?

@St-Sinner Except that she was predicted to lose by several credible outfits while Bernie was predicted to win by a landslide so you are simply working as a troll either paid or not lying for the corporate owned candidate of the DNC and Wall Street's choice rather than who the VOTERS want....

5

It's real simple, Bernie is NOT electable in this country, the perception is that he's too far left. Joe is of the Dem good old boy's club and his gaffs will not go down good as we need someone who gives the impression that they're on top of it. That leaves Lizzy and in my opinion she has the perspectives, knowledge, experience and balls to take on tRUMP and beat the crap out of him. I'm on board.

Bullshit he is the only one who is electable. You are listening to corporate pundits who lie for a living. Those same idiots help Hillary defraud her way to the nomination in 2016 and told you he was unelectable that Hillary was sure to beat Trump.... One question I have for you is how is president Hillary working out for you?....

Why is everyone saying that Bernie is not electable? Really? Was that the same wisdom that whispered in our ears that Trump wasn't electable? I would love to see Elizabeth Warren as the next president. However, Sanders is addressing the important issues, and has always consistently done so: the problem of hyperconcentration of wealth and power. There is a fundamental problem here that is connected to the climate change; it isn't simply recycling that's going to save us, we have to stop the corporations "externalizing the cost" by dumping the waste on all of us. That isn't going to be stopped by a lecture. It will take some action.

5

If Warren faced off against Trump and won, then that would hurt Trump more than Biden or Sanders winning against him. First, she's a woman, so Trump most likely thinks he's better than her. In history when discussing/teaching who became the first woman president of the US, Trump's name will be mentioned as the man who lost to her. That'll definitely hurt his ego. Second, this would be sweet revenge against Trump's relentless bullying and name calling towards Warren.

  1. A defeat by a woman
  2. A revenge of Pocahontas
  3. A defeat by a crusader against Wall Street and the rich
  4. She is not going to still about prosecuting Trump - like Obama did after Iraq war lying and deaths by Bush

All will hurt Trump all the way to the grave. Trump may also have severe constipation and Melania will have to give enema to him twice a day for the rest of his short life afterwards.

5

Warren 2020! She's got my vote! 🙂

5

She is beginning to remind me of Bobby Kennedy in 1968. In 1668, people were seeing Bobby's intelligence, genuine concern for all of the people, and integrity and farmers in the Midwest, moral working class people with morality, and others were joining Bobby. I really think that he could have beaten Nixon if he had not been killed.

Today, Elizabeth Warrens great intelligence and solid plans, genuine and deep concern for people, her great zeal, and her true integrity are becoming obvious. She is connecting with the people we need to reach. I believe that she can win, and I sure as hell hope that she does.

She is not a prop of the DNC or money or seasoned campaigns. She has done it all single highhandedly with her sheer appeal, perseverance, genuine concern and interaction with voters.It is amazing how she is doing it all at the age of 71. This frame, enthusiasm and this young happy smiling look with endurance at 71 and after raising 2 children is impressing me. Can you tell by her face she is 71?

4

past behavior is best predictor of future behavior. Her's disqualifies her. She is NOT a fighter. She supports Israel and wars. She's using PAC money obtained in her senate race to run while simultaneously claiming she isn't doing that. She also intends to take PAC money in general. As though that's any less likely to guide her agenda. I cannot vote for anyone who defends bombing schools and hospitals and calls it self defense! It is NEVER acceptable to bomb ANYONE who has not attacked us! EVER. She enabled Trumps appointments and increased his war budget. You cannot do those things and still call yourself progressive.

We have to pick the best candidate who can get elected. That is the goal number one. According to me, she is the best among the pack.

@jorj I did sense the identity politics thing in the debate. It wasn't just her.

@St-Sinner what is it that makes a warmongering liar more electable than an honest peacemaker?

@jniece Your comment sounds like pure hatred more than a fair assessment. Enjoy it yourself.

@St-Sinner she hasn't done these things? If a candidate has lied and has record that shows propensity for war; I'm a hater for pointing it out?

@jniece It is clear that she does not have your vote.

@St-Sinner So who is more "electable?" Someone with more donors that Trump or someone with less than half as many as Trump?....

@Lizard_of_Ahaz is there another candidate that has 1,000,000,000 donors?
That's how many Bernie has. And this dispels the "electability" myth [rollingstone.com]

@Lizard_of_Ahaz, @St-Sinner Knowing her record, the real question here is why does she have yours?

@jniece The closest to the number of donors Bernie has is Trump who is way behind in numbers. I know Warren's record and do NOT support her for president. I am one of Bernie's 1,000,000+ donors and am on his wall having donated 12 times in the primary and after the 1st of Oct will be 13 times. Since in March I will be financially much better off I plan to max out in the primary and again in the General for Bernie. If he is cheated again by the DNC the money I plan to donate in the General will instead go to 'Our Revolution'. If you check my posts here you will find a campaign email from his campaign showing he is not only the first to have this many donors this cycle but also beat his last cycle record.

@Lizard_of_Ahaz Electable now means poll numbers and winning Iowa and New Hampshire.

@St-Sinner Polls of 50 and up who have landlines don't show "electability..." People putting their money where their mouth is does....

@St-Sinner according to who?

@jniece Corporate owned news and corporate owned DNC controlled polls that only ask less than a thousand people the majority of whom still use landlines and are over the age of 50 as well as being White Males.... But of course he refuses to acknowledge that doesn't he?...

@St-Sinner, @Lizard_of_Ahaz my question is more directed at Warren supporters in general. Y would anyone give her their vote. I really want to know y her record doesn't trouble them. The only ppl that should support her school bombing excuses are zionist jews. I don't understand how they justify in their own conscious, voting for a candidate that does such abhorrent things.

@jniece He is from Texass and Warren wants to keep big oil while Bernie wants to shut them down and replace those oil jobs with clean energy ones... He even has the transition planned and if you watch the climate debate he has a workable program while Warren says she wants the market to handle it which is political code speak for "big oil paid me off..."
I just answered for him because he won't give an honest one... My guess is he is connected somehow to oil down there...

@Lizard_of_Ahaz who is from Texas?

@jniece St Sinner...

@Lizard_of_Ahaz
Unfortunately! Please get me out of here. Will relocate for the right woman. 🙂

@jniece According to me based on many others who have said in the media very often.

@Lizard_of_Ahaz ouch. that's mean. Try to keep the gloves up. Our unity is important. Even with Texas. Normally republicans agree elections are rigged and media is fos. They tend to think it's rigged via voter fraud though and we see election fraud. We could unite and solve both problems pretty easily if we tried. We could solve voter ID issue by using thumbprint scanners like my bank does. And thumbprints are something everyone already has. Election fraud can be solved by getting money out of politics and using paper ballots.

@St-Sinner Why when you belong there and deserve it so much?... When you keep spewing blatant falsehoods about corporate owned candidates favouring them over ones who have spent their entire lives working for people like us you just reaping what you have sown. Warren is none of the things you call her and Sanders is NOT a "one issue candidate" which is another blatant lie on your part. The difference between an establishment Dem and a Republican is the difference between Reagan and Mussolin which is far less than you might think unless you have actually studied history....

@St-Sinner, @jniece Tell that to Hillary's PUMAs....
[theguardian.com]

And before St Sinner starts spewing his bullshit lies there is a huge difference between the Bernie or bust movement and Hillary's PUMAs which she blamed for her loss after running a shit campaign. Many of us are Independent voters who have been browned off the DNC since Blowjob Bill sold out the people... Many more are kids just now seeing hope and someone worth voting for because he stands for them instead of corporate profiteers...
[vox.com]

@jniece I agree with paper ballots and money out of politics, but thumprint scan sounds like a HUGE invasion of privacy.

3

She's a good person, tells it like it is, speaks to the little people out there & understands and listens to what people need and want to see happen.

She is a liar and a fraud just like Trump, Hillary, and Biden...

@Lizard_of_Ahaz
Psssst ! We are not electing a priest.

3

I'm still not convinced that she's willing to put the country over party. While she definitely is a better choice than Trump, what makes her better than Bernie or Tulsi? Both of them are willing to stand up against the anti-progressive party leaders. I just don't see Warren taking them on.

I like Sanders a lot, but I'd support Gabbard at this point.

JimG Level 8 Sep 18, 2019

You know many people in the country like many candidates in the lineup of 24 including the self funded, Billionaire Tom Steyer. If a candidate cannot break out of 1% after 3 debates and 6 months in to the primaries, what good is it? Isn't or goal to support to most electable and defeat Trump?

@St-Sinner I'm only talking about the primary. Next November, I'll vote for anybody but Trump. In the meantime, until I hand in the primary ballot, my decision isn't final.

@JimG That is fair.

3

I agree with u 100%. I think people have a knee jerk reaction saying she isnt electable and I find that farcical. She is intelligent, well spoken, and clear about what direction she wants to go. Id be fine with anyone except Trump, but I'm with her, already donated to her campaign

At one time I thought Elizabeth Warren was not electable, she was just professorial without a good campaign who was just focused on churning out academic policy papers and not moving in polls. Nerdish candidacies turn me off. However, she has come around with perseverance, consistency, endurance (for her age) and connecting so well with her audiences at every rally, every town hall. I heard and read people are waiting for hours to get a selfie with her after events.

I don't care if she borrows polices from other campaigns. I want to see a leader who is pragmatic and can sell herself to the wider audience. I also saw that she is not just popular in primaries but she will be a good match to Trump in the general. My opinion is based on a long observation and following all candidates.

@St-Sinner Can you even imagine Donald Trump standing around for 4 hours taking selfies with his crowds after one of his stupid fucking rallies? No, shes the real deal. I hope she pulls through

@Nakedterror I agree with you.

@Nakedterror u don't have issue with her record? Lying, condoning school bombings, giving Trump more war money, and fast tracking his appointments? She was a damn republican until she ran for senate, She claimed native heritage and completely ignored the water protectors being brutalized by private security force. She is corporate funded and best buddies with the most corrupt candidate ever to run for office.

@jniece thank you for raising good points. Do you have a preferred candidate? I think my reasons for voting for warren come down to this:
Who do I believe will accomplish the most good for the most people? When I say "good" I mean to imply a sense of well-being supported and protected by the government. I think Warren makes a great candidate, I don't necessarily need her to be perfect

3

Trump will eat the Indian alive. What a demagogue!

zesty Level 7 Sep 18, 2019

He wouldn’t eat her. She’s not his type.

"Trump will eat the Indian alive. What a demagogue!" So you say...without offering any proof whatsoever.

@bradnyijuan Of course not. Trump has more class!

@zesty I thought he preferred playboy models, porn stars, and mail order brides. Anything money can buy!

@bradnyijuan Im pretty sure she would knock his teeth out first

I really hope Mrs. Warren brings up Trump's unfortunate choice of attempting to disparage her by using the name of Pocahontas in an insulting manner in the presence of Native American veterans because he won't be eating anything in that situation other than his own words. He needs to get called out on that. That was an extremely disturbing and inappropriate moment. Noone supported that.

@zesty Trump has no class what so ever !

@jorj No sides supported that.

@jorj Okay so if you want to call her out on that one issue then do so, but you don't say that. You don't do it THAT way. This is where you draw the line. NO, NOT ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR.

Trump will try to chew Warren but all possible scenarios of attacks are built into her preparation. I guarantee that people are not going to like Trump's meanness against Warren on the debate stage. Warren is a capable debater who comes across as a likable candidate.

Trump's aggressive performance was not repulsive to me in 2016 against Hillary because I never liked Hillary in the first place. I really wanted both to destroy each other beyond repair.

@Flowerwall Why not bring up Trump's bimbos in the pron industry and the fact that he was sleeping with women when Melania was a new mother at home recovering?

@St-Sinner Who cares if Trump fucked bimbos or cheated on Melanie? He does what is good for America and he is a great president even if he texts way too much.

@zesty I am talking about Warren throwing it at Trump in debates. It will just amplify and drive Trump out of control. That is what I want to see.

@St-Sinner She is not smart enough for that. Warren is just a lying lawyer. Trump is a great businessman.

@Flowerwall Hahaha. Warren was lying about her Indian hermitage! Let's don't forget this fact. Trump just made fun of the socialist bitch. Our president was 100% right.

@zesty
“ Trump is a great businessman”
Hahahahaha hahahahaha
No really

@zesty
I wouldn’t call it a lie. It was what she was told by her family. Also Indians are from India. Native Americans is proper.

@darthfaja Don't tell me what is proper. You are not qualified!

@zesty considering I am part Native American I am qualified, and once again it’s just simple logic.

People from India and Indian
People from America are Americans
Easy

@zesty The last I had heard she was indeed determined to be a fraction Cherokee. I disagree with EVERYONE who criticizes her for claiming her Native American heritage including any Native Americans. She shouldn't have claimed ancestry to gain benefits with schooling, but don't try to deny someone's heritage or use names associated with a particular culture in attempts to disparage because that is RACIST and UGLY BEHAVIOR. This is where UK are thought leaders in this regard, as I understand it they have much stricter laws with regard to hate speech. I don't think this type of behavior would be accepted there as it SHOULD NOT be.

@St-Sinner She should probably allude to these issues, not hover there. I think the entire nation may feel highly uncomfortable with the admittance of the malicious emotional betrayal that occurred in their marriage. Either that or the nation must acknowledge the President of the United States is in an open (half-way?) marriage. Or possibly the 1% have marriages that are more like business arrangements and none of the aspects of traditional marriage apply. It's all just an exchange of wealth for relationship/appearance of relationships.

@Flowerwall Lying is not a good idea. She wanted to be accepted into law school based on lying about her background. I don't think that it is fair. Now, is this a racist statement?
She has no Indian blood, simple.
We live in a free country. Trump is a great guy, Warren is trash. This is my opinion and I have the right to state it!

@zesty You sure do have a right to state it. No lying is NOT a good idea, so don't attempt it. Warren does indeed have Native American blood.

@Flowerwall Warren is a pseudo Indian! A new category.

@jorj "He is confident and stands by things he has done without asking for anyone's forgiveness and that goes a long way for leaders. " I agree in part. I think this may be beneficial in some ways, it can also be dangerous too.

@zesty Incorrect.

@darthfaja I'm part Russian part Scandinavian. Does it make me an expert in Russian or Scandinavian matters? 😊

@darthfaja, @Flowerwall Correct! Congratulations, we achieved kindergarten level in this discussion.

@zesty You are doing something with kindergarten?

@Flowerwall Just a college professor. Some undergraduate classes feel as kindergarten teaching. Lol Even in graduate classes first couple of sessions I must teach math so the students could understand the essence of the theories. Kindergarten....

@zesty Teachers with kind hearts are the best of all; you remember them forever.

@Flowerwall Yes, maybe.

3

She’s the only one qualified to beat trump imho

where that opinion come from because it just isn't true. Bernie is only candidate that beats trump in every state including Texas.

@jniece Bernie talks, behaves and looks like a demagogue Soviet party secretary from a small town in the former Soviet Union. He makes me sick!

@zesty k. and? What does that have to do with anything?

@jniece One must be out of his mind to vote for someone socialist, like Bernie. To turn the United States into a socialist concentration camp.

@zesty
Do you know what socialism is?
I highly doubt it by your reply and your ridiculous replies above.
What century do you live in?
You do know that Regans space program failed, correct?
Ketchup is not a vegetable.

@jniece where are you getting your statistics?

@darthfaja No need to be nasty sweetheart! Try to be civilized. Learn one of the major rules of debate - don't attack the messenger, concentrate on the subject. However you sound way too primitive to understand this.

@zesty
Pot Kettle
Look at your replies above
Your replies are broad and exaggerated
They have no basis in reality or factuality
I’m not being nasty
Give us some factual intelligent replies and I’ll gladly have an educated conversation with you.
However your current replies show a lack of understanding of simple government and economic principles.

@darthfaja The definition of socialism: all the means of production are government owned, in the society personal property is allowed, money exist.
That's it.
See history - without exception, all the countries following this model went bankrupt, hundreds or millions were executed.

@zesty
That’s not true
China, Loas, Vietnam, Cuba are socialist
And they aren’t bankrupt or executing millions

And America is a hybrid of capitalism and socialism
We already have extensive socialism in place
Bernie is talking about healthcare for all not for some
And education for all not some

How is that a problem?
Are you unaware of the socialism in place in our government currently? It appears so by your replies.

@darthfaja The countries you list execute millions. Long walk killed 25 million Chinese, Castro 's regime holds an untold number of political prisoners.
These countries are, practically, bankrupt.
In the US there are social services but not socialism. These are different concepts.
Free Healthcare, free education. Who pays for it? Who rations it?
I lived in a country where the health-care was "free". In order to get an appointment and a halfway decent service one had to bribe the medical personnel all the time.

@zesty
China Bankrupt? Hardly
Medicare and Medicaid are socialism and we are paying them through taxes like we always have.

The point is that you perceive any help to the public as socialism and what I’m trying to explain is that these systems are already in place yet none of your ‘chicken little’ concerns have occurred.

The entire purpose of my replies to you was to point out how ridiculous you sound with your extremist view point.

America is and will continue to be a hybrid and we will continue to survive dispute your unfounded fears.

You have made very few factual statements.

You are hopelessly arrogant and simple minded. I don't wish to communicate with you.

@zesty
I’m confident not arrogant and simple minded? Oh please. I’m not the one making outrageous claims that have no basis in facts. You have expressed only your opinions and misbeliefs.
If you don’t want to communicate, well that’s fine.

Peeps, here is the latest as of Saturday, September 21.

According to the new CNN/Des Moines Register/Mediacom poll of likely Iowa caucusgoers.

  1. Elizabeth Warren = 22%
  2. Joe Biden = 20%
  3. Bernie Sanders = 11%
  4. Pete Buttigieg = 9%

LOL... LOL.... LOL... LOL.....

[www-m.cnn.com],

So suddenly she claims to be progressive while still sucking up to billionaires to back her campaign and you believe her?... I have a bridge for sale in Brooklyn I can sell you dirt cheap....

@Lizard_of_Ahaz
She is winning over Bernie, isn't she? Would you complain if she won over Trump?

People are flocking to Warren because Bernie cannot do it. We have seen he flaming out two times. Bernie is not making the sale.

@St-Sinner Not even close.... The DNC is faking those polls again just like they did in 2016 for Hillary....You brainwashed cucks for capitalism are screwing yourselves and hurting others with you....

@Lizard_of_Ahaz
Just like Trump did not win and actually Hillary won?

You know there still some people who think man did not land of the moon, the Holocaust was a hoax, the world trade centers were blown up CIA and there is a big conspiracy of capitalists to make us all poor. You know what they are called? They are called the fringes of a society.

@St-Sinner Polls of people using landline phones who are mostly White, over 50, and upper middle class who watch pundits on TV or read the NYT telling them what the want to hear makes for biased polls.... You know the type people like you....

@Lizard_of_Ahaz
I have not heard any complaints from the Bernie group when he was riding at the top in polls. No problems then but all the complaints surface with perfect justifications when he is sliding big time? Why is that?

I am all in for her.

I admire Warren I haven't seen her speak yet. I am going to see Buttigieg on Sunday.

Maybe you should check her real record because there isn't much to "admire" in her and Buttigieg is even worse...

If I can't have Bernie then I want Liz.

This responses here is just a test of what excitement her ticket against Trump will generate. I think the excitement in the general will far surpass of that of 2016.

Buckle up Democrats. We are going to -- 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500

@jorj I would be very happy if Trump is defeated. But the reasons for which I said Trump would win are these:

  1. Trump is the master of handling media. His media blitz and campaign blitz with his rich war chest can brain wash people again. He already has the American South in his grip. His battle will be only for the states he snatched from Democrats last time in 2016... PA, MI, WI, MN etc. His money and aggressive campaign style can achieve it again
  2. We currently do not have a knight in the shining armor like we had Obama and Bill Clinton. Our current line up is pathetic. Trump is likely to demolish his opponent with his unconventional style that is totally unpredictable.
  3. In the U.S. politics, when money talks, shit walks. Trump is all about money
  4. We cannot forget the possibility of the Russian meddling. Hillary Clinton has already warned of a high possibility. If the elections are stolen, it will take more than 4 to 6 years for the democrats to figure out what happened. By that time Trump will have served his full second term and changed America and American political landscape forever.

@jorj Remove Hillary's mention from Russia meddling. I don't care for her. is it not a threat?

i met her last month after attending one of her town halls and she is fabulous. actually, i like policy wonks! i mean, that's what she should be! but she ALSO happens to be presidential material in so many other ways, as she is personable, caring, down-to-earth, dedicated, persistent, intelligent and, yes, wonky about GOOD policies instead of bad ones lol. and everything you said, too!

g

Did you take a selfie with her? Cherish your memory and her photo if you have it. I think she is going make history and give our country back.

Too much policy wonking turns me off. especially academics who bring their wonking out of classrooms and bore me to death. I like relatable knowledge in good doses, not a dump of nerdy stuff.

Warren is a different story. I am changing my mind about Warren because of her style of making it easy to understand, in how she relates to people and shows what she is talking about means to us. I am posting this after reading about her and listening to her for some time.

@St-Sinner yes i did! but it's not on my computer (i could've sworn i transferred it!) it's still on my phone. i'll try to get it here for you soon. and yes, i treasure that experience! wait, wait... i may have it elsewhere on this site. brb!

g

@genessa Please send me in the messenger. I will sell it on eBay after 30 years. lol

@St-Sinner here, i posted it on this site to i'll just link you to my post. [agnostic.com] but i don't like the picture because i am so fat! thing is, i wasn't there for a selfie. i just wanted to thank her for what she had said for the last hour and a half/two hours. but one of her volunteers asked if i had a camera and i had my guy's (mine was out of charge already) so i handed it to her and she snapped it as i was about to thank warren, and everything just fell out of my head and all i could say was "you have my vote"! i felt like a fool but at least she is in the picture lol

g

@genessa I saw it. Pretty good. Thank you.

@St-Sinner 🙂)

Listening to them all I have always found Warren to be the most competent. My complaint was her "electability". I have said all along that if she makes it back to the lead after trump beats her up with his little slams then she deserves the democratic nod - and I stick to that. Personally I'd like to elect Mayor Pete, but Warren is more experienced than Pete.

I am most confident in her ability to respond and beat Trump in the debates. Biden and Sanders will have a heart attack with Trump's vicious attacks. Warren can put him in his place. Hillary did not have as much Likability factor among voters, it was just euphoria. Warren is really well liked and people will not tolerate Trump not being nice to her.

@St-Sinner It's not who beats who in the debates, it is who wins on election day.

@jlynn37 Debates is the path. If Trump destroys Warren, she will not be elected. Debates have become "deciders" in elections now.

Elect a democrat, elect a republican, same old endless war shit. Israeli stooge, she'll be kissing Zionist ass just as much as Trump does. Ex-Republican . . . . was a republican up until about 1995 . . . can't be to bright . . . . . But you could elect a chimp and nothing would change because the president is but a figurehead, it is the military industrial complex running things. . . . Don't believe me? Then explain why we have been in endless war since Iraq, even earlier . . . . follow the money, where does it lead . . . .
.
"To learn who rules over you, find out who you are not allowed to criticize."---Voltaire
.
Now think Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning and Julian Assange . . . .
.
Dream on . . . . disappointment is coming.

Okay, so what is the solution? Constitutionalism?

Many people will agree with your frustration but we cannot do nothing. We've got to make the best of the situation. Else the country will go to dogs.

@St-Sinner Warren is a dyed in the wool conservative her PAC even states so....

I tend to agree.

Im not a dem, and these are not my opinions, just my observations:

the dems should not run a female or someone over 70. preferrably over 60. if they want to being back the disenfranchised voters, they need to appeal to every day people.

You have a point and it well taken.... but sorry, we don't have anybody better right now. lol. Do you know of any good Republican who can convert or we can loan for 8 years?

@St-Sinner well any of the current dems (except maybe bernie) would be equally legit as republicans. beto maybe?

@MarkiusMahamius Beto is good but voters don't see him as the one taking over as President. That is a big qualification too. There have been 3 weird exceptions of very bad VPs in my recent memory - Dan Quayle, Dick Cheney and Mike Pence.

@St-Sinner a moderate republican (what was that governors name who ran in 2016?) could possibly swing it. but there are too many people who just believe that democrats are somehow more "on the peoples side" even if policy and performance shows otherwise.

@MarkiusMahamius

  1. Are you talking about Martin O'Malley?
  2. Yes, perceptions stick. People think Republicans are better for national defense which is not true.
