At least one receives a Tee shirt for ones efforts.....& some folks have hooked up. It is what you make of it.

don't wear t shirts or hook ups. Do they have any other prizes?

@MorganR It is a thank you for your contributions not a prize. Give the Tee shirt away. A nice pen comes with it. Do you write?

No level allows access to the spaceship; so not like Scientology πŸ˜‰
But if you enjoy the site the points aren’t so important 😊

Damn. That’s very disappoinntng. Me want spaceshipπŸ‘½

@MorganR hey! I have command of the spaceship & you don't get aboard without the secret pass-ticket,which is a certified cashier's check for all your money...oh, wait, sorry, that's Scientology....

MorganR if they hand you a contract to sign please read it thoroughly first! πŸ˜‚

Well already a three! Wow! Now reading your aura I can see you would really be helped on your path by our $10.99 personal cleansing program... oops! ignore that... 🀣 couldn't resist.

Welcome to the asylum. Enjoy your stay.

10

Welcome, explore a little, you'll find it is much more like herding cats than scientology.

Scientology = herding Lemmings imo.

10

Pastafarian. Welcome, did you bring donuts? πŸ™‚

I believe in vishnu for a. Donut

It's difficult to explain until you've rid yourself of all of your body thetans β€” but, once you have, all will become clear.

(The levels aren't very important. They exist early on to help prevent spammers and scammers from getting their hooks into other members, but later on it's mostly for fun. Enjoy!)

I was accused of point begging (forget the term actually used) when I first got here. I countered that I just wanted some reactions good or bad to whatever I shared/wrote. I wasn't posting endless stupid click-bait shit.

8

They make people go through levels so they can weed out the morons. Scientology is no more fraudulent than every other fraudulent religion.

7

Hello and welcome. We are a very board group here.

....err? Did you mean β€œbored” or β€œbroad”?

@Marionville broad. Though sometimes just a little.

7

Welcome. I like this site but you will see the constant repeats and those who want to define who you are using their own standards. That's about the only connect with Scientology or any other so called religion.

7

Ignore the haters, this is a funny post!

6

No, you've joined the world and Universe as a True Free-Thinking, Rational, Logical Human Being my friend.
There's NO filling of Mr. Hubbard's Cupboard here, no coughing up cash for the Collection Plate, no mumbling in to your hands, at the floor or the ceiling required here, NO John T. and his Boeing 747, just saying it like it is and being yourself.
Welcome to REALITY.

5

"i would never join any group that would want me as a member" comes to mind πŸ˜€

5

Don't worry. It becomes much harder to advance around level 8.

Ain’t that a fact!

5

The levels go by very fast.

....in the beginning..then they become interminable!

Until you get to 7

... then you die.

@nicestuff ...em, no...but at well into 9 now I’m getting worried!

@Marionville narf

5

OMFG! There’s a point system!?
Why?

The claim is that it keeps away bots and that makes some sense. But i think there are nine levels.

@MorganR 10...but when you get to 9, you pretty much stay there FOREVER

@AnneWimsey It certainly seems that way!

5

No It means you are just becoming more (Reason)able

5

Welcome!

ha well technically agnostics eh? I take it there are no atheist sites? Does atheist.org suck or something? Not like theres any actual agnostics here anyway though lol. I wish you fulfillment on your path πŸ™‚

@DangerDave well dave, my arg there is that it prolly does no good to claim to be agnostic if you speak in absolutes, like any other believer, "this is that, that is this..." i mean that basically defines gnosticism eh

@DangerDave "The only absolute that defines an ideological atheist is a claim of knowledge there is no god."
well, so you say anyway, yes

"Otherwise, yes, there are absolutes such as the above definition of the gnostic atheist."
hmm, you don't think that everyone who hears or uses that term is not hearing/using it slightly differently?

@DangerDave "You see, thinking people depend on working, accepted definitions of words to communicate."
well again dave, so you say, but in such a way that there can be no exceptions? What if there are? What if there is only a single exception? Who judges who "thinking ppl" are, anyway? (Are they cousins of "true believers?" )

"Either way, I'll stick with the vernacular."
well, the vernacular you have chosen anyway, right? What is the definition of "myth" dave?

@DangerDave yes dave, but it also has come to mean basically "lie" now, right? "Urban myth," etc?

and fwiw i am not atheist, nor do i believe you can quote me knowing anything (ever), so?

@DangerDave "Oh, I can and have quoted you anonymously," only you won't be bothering today, right

"Thinking people take notice of a word used in context and, if unsure, they'll ask for clarification."
well, that would be ideal, sure, but iyo this happens every, single, time? Dave? Bc see, the first time that that does not happen, your absolute statement is made into a lie, right? What does "gnostic" really mean, dave? Love ya btw πŸ˜€

@DangerDave ok then

Welcome...

4

If this is Scientology, I am leaving. Don’t worry the points will add up and they help you stay connected. It’s that β€˜moving up the ladder’...that upward mobility that gives people the idea they are accomplishing something. Lol. (the idea keeps the axels greased here.)

4

LMAO!! Welcome to real β€œLand of the lost”.

All of us who have β€œlost” our former ways and beliefs.

Had to try it to know

Us godless are a diverse bunch. Like herding cats. Just read a wild recent piece on some of Ayn Rand's proclamations and the mindset's link to MAGAts. Will link when I find again.

I like that the main tenet of non/un/disbelief is to figure it out for yourself. I like Lawrence Krauss's "degrees of probability." Sadly and ironically, I think the probability that Krauss is guilty of some harassing conduct at higher than 50%. I like his cosmology and defenses of atheism, but the rest is unfortunate. I even saw one of his YouTube lectures where a somewhat sexist joke about cutes girls in the audience sure looks bad in retrospect.

Welcome and enjoy

Hello and welcome to the site...forget the points...the ladder into the sky is notional. The only person who nearly reached level ten just mysteriously disappeared one day without trace...I kid you not!

LOL If that person disappeared, then the ladder sounds very real.

@nicestuff Perhaps so...I think I need to put on the brakes just in case then!

gtf out, who, may i ask?

@bbyrd009 CutieBeauty...she just disappeared without leaving any message.

@Marionville @CutieBeauty? i remember her, ya!

probably got on the spaceship

@MorganR It certainly is a mystery,
