I guess I look good on paper.. but worth the effort to attempt real contact??.. not so much as it turns out.

Texting is texting, whether phone keypad or full keyboard. In the early 1960's Marshall McLuhan wrote a famous book, The Medium IS the Message. He showed that alphabets are linear, sequential and abstract, only stimulating our linear, sequential, abstract and male-dominant left brains. Voice and video calls are synthesizing, concrete and holisitic, so they stimulate our HOLISTIC right brains. Apples and oranges. Texting can NEVER reach us in a holistic manner.

I dislike texting. I like a full keyboard and the phone just doesn't have that. I like real time and immediate.

Why should people engage in what you call "exploratory hookups" if they are not attracted to the person or do not engage in hookups?
