Intimacy, there are degrees of intimacy I guess. Sexual intimacy is what comes to mind immediately but even sexual intimacy would be a matter of degree. You could say intimacy is subject to growth, guess that's obvious, as a common goal between two humans higher degrees there of are achieved more quickly? Shared experience and openness of heart and mind would determine degree of intimacy. I think intimacy can plateau in a relationship as well, safe to say the further you can take it as two humans the more valuable it becomes?
