Intimacy, there are degrees of intimacy I guess. Sexual intimacy is what comes to mind immediately but even sexual intimacy would be a matter of degree. You could say intimacy is subject to growth, guess that's obvious, as a common goal between two humans higher degrees there of are achieved more quickly? Shared experience and openness of heart and mind would determine degree of intimacy. I think intimacy can plateau in a relationship as well, safe to say the further you can take it as two humans the more valuable it becomes?

True, more over there's the anti intimacy of screen time. Degree of intimacy is related to it's proximity? But your right, it has morphed.
