If “true love” really exists, this is part of it
(and no, I’m not fat. Merely making a point.)

If you truly, fully love the person, appearance doesn’t matter. That aside, I personally have always been attracted to women with “a little extra padding” than those with not enough.

It really does exist I lived it for 21 years and 10 weeks of my life Norm is my true love

Good for you! 👍 Sadly, it has eluded many of the rest of us. Oh well, life goes on.

@rsb97080 once you find it you cherish it for as long as you can I cherish it for 21 years and 10 weeks he will always be my forever

It’s not what you got, it’s how you use it. And with whom.

I mentioned my insecurities about my older “mom body” to someone I cared for, and he said bodies tell our life stories, and the physical effects of motherhood are beautiful. That boosted my confidence enormously.

Lived in bodies rock!

I agree and I am a little "curvy/ fat. "

good point ,show the love

Perfect reply if you are secure in your love. Someone with low confidence in themselves and/or the relationship might have a hard time accepting this as genuine. My late husband would say versions of this and I felt loved when he did.

I'm finally learning to accept my body with my VERY thick thighs and and a few other areas that are NOT slim.

I would NOT mind at all if my boyfriend/ lover teased me as long as I knew he truly loved me, including my body as it is.

That doesn't affect anything you just love your partner

bobwjr Level 9 Nov 29, 2019

She's gorgeous!!

What is the point? I’m not trying to be a smart ass . Seems like a label may be being applied even with the best of intentions .

Outsideit67 Level 7 Nov 29, 2019

The point is how one responds to a partner's moment of insecurity.

@itsmedammit I see , I will admit I missed the boat on this one !! lol no shame in my game for admitting it ! Ha Ha Ha

@Outsideit67 It happens. smile001.gif

That's the truth.

My mother said that my father’s comment about weight was “All the more to love.”

Heat in the winter, shade in the summer!🙌🏻🙌🏻

Yup, you gotta love and appreciate all of the person, inside and out
