So, I'm not going to call her names.
SpikeTalon comments on Dec 23, 2018:
At this point the only reason I might still be for the wall is because I want to see Trump keep one of his biggest campaign promises. Investing in other sorts of technology to help curb illegal immigration would probably be more ideal. Increasing welfare spending I'm vehemently opposed to of course.

So much for "SERVE AND PROTECT" I guess.
SpikeTalon comments on Dec 19, 2018:
It never ceases to amaze me how many of my fellow Americans are not aware of the fact that those in law enforcement have no legal obligation to protect citizens, their duty is to uphold laws in place and apprehend those who break said laws. It is for this same reason that such a thing as private security exists along with bodyguards, for those out there who need protection. There have been several employees who had worked for Planned Parenthood who had filed complaints with their local police over threats issued by pro life fanatics (I disdain pro lifers) only for the most part to be told the police are limited in what they could do for them. I hate to say this, but a good majority of Democrats and other left-leaning folks appear to be rather naive when it comes to the duties of those in LE, at least based on my observations over the years. Of course, that's not something our children are being taught in schools though, and unfortunately some folks end up learning about such the hard way.
Do you forgive easily or is it difficult for you to let go when you feel wronged?
SpikeTalon comments on Dec 19, 2018:
I forgive rather easily, but tend to sever contact with those who repeat in doing me wrong. Have been wronged plenty of times already, part of the reason why I'm an introvert who at times appears to be anti-social.

SpikeTalon comments on Dec 19, 2018:
It appears that group was created right before I created The Federalist Papers group, that while conservative based, could accomodate for political debating from both sides or for those who are curious. The avatar for the political debate group is...interesting. I would only ban someone from the Federalist group if they troll or harass another member, aside from that not interested in banning anyone before hand. Thank you for sharing that.

It's similar to when a christian accuses an atheist of being a devil worshipper. The progressive left reminds me of a cult. I don't worship anything, as I value my individualism.

How would you explain what Fox News really is?
SpikeTalon comments on Dec 16, 2018:
FOX is just the same as most other mainstream media sources, NYTimes Washington Post CNN give opinions too, I hardly know of any news sources these days that don't give opinions. Personally, I'm done taking sides on that because both are playing the American citizens. It is no surprise that those who do not like FOX are most likely in support of far left causes, and vice versa alot of those who do like FOX are religious zealots. Human beings will naturally gravitate towards sources/people that share in their own views and distance themselves from those who are perceived to challenge their views.

SpikeTalon comments on Dec 15, 2018:
To save me some time, I will share a comment here that was first posted on one of UrsiMajor's posts, that explains my background/something I did in the past, and I never felt objectified over what I did. Here it is- As a guy who years ago entertained at a few private hen parties, I must disagree with your comment regarding objectifying women. The women who posed for sources like Maxim and Playboy did so on their own accord, same is true for male models. That's called exercising free will and making a choice, and it will be my assumption you are for individuals being free to make their own choices in life. The female models who pose for erotic shoots would disagree with your objectification remark, as most of them would say being a model is just a job and that particular job could give one a feeling of empowerment, knowing they will receive an adoring audience. I had entertained at six private hen parties when I was in my twenties, and with the exception of one (in the buff), I wore only a bikini swimsuit and flip flops, which got quite a few looks. Don't for one moment think I felt objectified, that was my job as an entertainer and besides it was my free will that brought me to that point, I could have walked away at anytime if I so chose. Those experiences were most gratifying, and in doing so I got to learn alot about women (most of the women were considerably older than myself), and more importantly I embraced atheism shortly after as quite a few of the women I entertained were atheists. Being a model that of which might include wearing little to no clothing is just a job, and also a choice at that. So far I had done two posts in this group, and if you needed me to elaborate on any details I'd be more than glad to when I get the time.
It took awhile as I’ve been on this site for over a year being kicked off once but I finally made ...

SpikeTalon comments on Dec 15, 2018:
Thank you by the way for your interest in the conservative atheists group, which has a mixture of Republican and Libertarian members. I think modern day conservatives and classic liberals have quite a bit in common, the manners they go about in handling political issues may differ, it's the progressive crowd that I'm opposed to (socialists, political correctness, gun controllers etc). I also think the terms liberal and conservative have meaning that extends beyond politics, for example how one dresses etc.
I am a registered Republican, so I can vote in the primaries.
SpikeTalon comments on Dec 15, 2018:
I want to conserve our Constitutional rights. Conservative is a term I loosely identify with among other terms. With that said, I think it's more important to focus on upholding the Constitution and the principles our country was founded on. Terms one chooses to identify as/with doesn't matter as much, and I'm registered Independent. I especially agree with the last part of your comment.
I've arrived :)

The holiday celebrations around me do not sadden me, but rather an anniversary on December 18th, which back in 2006 is the day my father passed away from a sudden heart attack, so for that reason this time of year can be slightly depressing for me.
