I had seen him do some of the bits, but could he carry the whole show? I think he's doing fine. When he started, I could see that he was worried, but he's been hittin' his groove, and really kicking things up.
John Oliver I liked when he was on The Daily Show... but he also did a podcast with a friend of his: John in New York, his friend in the UK, and they were hilarious. And now he’s getting better and better.

Ricky is pretty awesome...such a level of snarky has yet to be seen! Maher's ego is a bit much for me...but I find that I agree with him on a lot of his talking points...or if not agree, think he makes good arguments.
There are both great. I watch them every chance I get.

I don't like Bill Maher....though, I agree with him a lot...but his ego detracts from his points...I almost hate to agree with him...haha...which is totally stupid on my part...
@JohnnyThorazine I know. Maher can get edgy. I've had those thoughts. But last weeks show was great; no ego interference and good guests, including two young men from the Florida high school where the last mass shooting took place. I don't have cable, but one can stream him live on YouTube.
Perhaps an idea for a group?
