I find it hard to let go and commit, there definitly has been some but they were not avaiable and i find i must be comfortable with the person from the get go to be able to open,They must be very open minded and non judgmental,Still working on it

If your last relationship ended badly it is understandable that you are leery. I have also been there. But I also found that with time and patience one can get to know another that is very compatible and will make the effort worthwhile.
