Seems ‘love chemistry’ may be much more involved than we ever realized!

We have so much to learn from nature and our surroundings

I learned a long time ago that actual mating changes my brain and actual emotional feeling for someone. That makes me very careful about the mating part.

After lots of failures I discovered chemistry is 'fake news'. Unfortunately, at our 'stage of life' it takes time to get to know another if one is wanting a committed, happy relationship. Been there done that and it works.

I changed my genes-

How are you Joni?

Colette

Doing well, Colette. You may have changed a Y to and X, but this may be on an entirely other gene - who knows?

This is called weird science.

Comparing human relationship behavior with that of mice is as ridiculous as it can get. Humans are intelligent creatures. They have invented sex as entertainment. Creatures of the wild only do it to procreate. Human relationship involve many other things including so many emotions that other creatures do not. We just cannot take one or two pieces of other animals and say, we should be like them.

St-Sinner Level 9 Aug 26, 2019

Who is saying humans ‘should’ anything? This is science about ‘chemistry’ which may be interesting or not. Why do you feel the need to attack my posts??

Have you not heard that dolphins frolic sexually for hours? That a pig’s orgasm lasts a hour or more?
How arrogant, human, to assume only one species has sex for pleasure.

@Justjoni
I am not attacking anything. I am commenting with my disagreement with the post, not with you. If more than one post has my disagreement, it may be just a coincidence or may be we think differently.

I do not think there is anything to learn from humans from mice in relationships. It is a far stretch.

@St-Sinner you came off sounding like a dick.And you continued to do so.And by the way...its called procreate.Really.Look it up.You would be amazed what you can learn from reading with an OPEN MIND.just sayin....

@lookinhard
Why does laying out an argument come across like being a dick? We can disagree but what in my argument was not civil or polite? The post had one view and I happen to have an opposite view. I have an open mind but that does not mean I have to go along with another opinion.

@Justjoni I am sorry but your examples do not suggest that animals have sex for entertainment. It can be seen as different type of sex than humans have.

I disagree. Humans did not invent sex as entertainment. They had sex to procreate and evolved to enjoy it, thus keeping the male and female together long enough to raise baby humans who have an excessively long dependent phase. I just read an article about why human babies are born before their brains are fully developed. It is because we stood up. That development made it possible for us to hunt more effectively and use our hands, but it also limited the width of a woman's pelvis and the size of the baby's head. Interesting, no?
