My last relationship was with a Catholic woman. However, I believe her religious beliefs lacked depth and intimacy. I feel that I can find a greater sense of intimacy with a spiritual or agnostic or humanist gal. Just sitting by the water and wondering about nature and culture and why we are here can spark intimacy, I think. Do you agree?

I've always felt (since teenage years) that religion works to prevent honesty. And I found later that deep honesty can result in deep intimacy.
