When you are involved with someone, what is your comfort level with how often you see them?
ArdentAtheist comments on Apr 18, 2018:
I need time on my own to work on music and guitar building projects but my favorite relationships are the ones that make me happy to put that aside to spend time together, when there is nothing else either person would rather be doing is when I’m happiest. Be it in a canoe or a kitchen if I want for nothing more life is perfect, I’ve had that a few times, the best of them ended in logistical and geographical problems that neither of us could resolve so all that remains is the love.

ArdentAtheist comments on Apr 18, 2018:
I’m originally a New Yorker, it’s no challenge to figure that out if you here me talk. I got in a conversation with a random guy and I not only told him he was from Steten Island, I told him what neighborhood, even I was surprised that I got it right, fagetaboutit.
Bad taste too
ArdentAtheist comments on Apr 18, 2018:
Hmmm, I feel like that’s a racist meme unintentional as that may be... I know I have lots of built in advantages simply due to my skin color, I don’t like that and I’m not proud of it... areas I sometimes feel discriminated against are atheism and veganism... on veganism I get gay jokes (not funny and I have a gay daughter) and people beating their chest and yelling bacon ...or a version of that, on atheism god forbid you question someone’s religion... but being a white guy has not been a burden, it’s Embarrassing if anything because I don’t ever want to diminish the rights of another human being.
What are you eating?
ArdentAtheist comments on Apr 18, 2018:
Last nights breakfast for dinner vegan pancakes, I’ll be fine:)

Is there any other way to use resin other than smoking it?
ArdentAtheist comments on Apr 18, 2018:
If your out of blue tac you can use it to hang posters. You can put it under a big bandaid and make a patch for your arm, use it to plug a hole in your canoe, use it like clay and make a nativity set for Christmas... ok, I’ll stop.

Keep it ethnic, if you go for any sort of Asian cuisine they can generally substitute tofu for any meat in any dish, at the very least you can get a Buddhas delight. We have a vegan bestro here called Darbsters that is amazing but pricy so that’s for a second date, lol ... avoid American diners and burger joints as the vegan options are rarely any good... Your not wrong, I found it no different from the male perspective... either they want to get Uber serious out of the gate or they are looking for a preconceived perfection that nobody could fit. I’m in the no expectations zone... I’m not here to date, actually I’ve started seeing someone and we will see how it goes... she isn’t the normal hipppie type I usually am attracted to but then in the long run that has not gone that well. I don’t cheat but have been cheated on and I’m weary and wary of it all... going with the flow and doing my best not to be attached to a particular outcome is how I plan to move forward. I’ve finally learned my happiness is my responsibility, if someone else who is already happy wants to be happy together that will be grand. I have nothing in common with the girl I’m seeing and so far that has not been a problem.

ArdentAtheist comments on Apr 8, 2018:
Just read every comment on this, very surprising to see that a group of freethinking agnostic/atheists would put any stock in astrology. I’m not sure what to think of that? To me it’s supernatural hooey, like another form of religion with no basis in reality. I’ve got to side with Neil Degrasse Tyson on this one. Present a random horoscope to an audience and ask the audience, “who in the audience feels as though this represents them?” far more than 1/12th of the people raise their hands and that’s all it takes disprove astrology. They are general and you can find meaning to apply to your life almost anyplace you look for it. Hey, if it’s fun and you know it’s entertainment that’s one thing but if you miss out on what could be the greatest relationship of your life because they are a particular sign thats almost a form discriminatory bigotry, it’s judging people based on a supernatural unfalsafiable premise. If you believe in this stuff while at the same time claiming agnosticism frankly I’m confused. Then consider a sign is missing from the zodiac and that the stars have moved so you really aren’t even the sign you think you are. If someone in a bar ever asks me what my sign is my answer will be, STOP.
