Tomfoolery33 comments on Sep 17, 2018:
The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Yes, Kansas, Emerson Lake & Palmer, B.B. King, Frank Zappa, Aerosmith, Boston, Rare Earth, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Black Sabbath, The Allman Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Keb 'Mo, Leon Redbone, John Prine, and others I can't remember right now. I also saw Mohammed Ali at LAX once.
How did you find this site?
Tomfoolery33 comments on Sep 17, 2018:
An ad on Facebook that a friend of mine had liked, though he's not on this site.
I have a little Facebook alter ego page where I go to rant and rave, primarily about politics.

Is Christianity a religion or a cult?
Tomfoolery33 comments on Sep 16, 2018:
The only difference between a religion and a cult is the number of followers it has, and how long it's been around.
Do you have any big (or not-so-big) life regrets?
Tomfoolery33 comments on Sep 16, 2018:
I could think of some, though nothing really major. I tend not to look at things that way though; more like water under the bridge.

What are your views on marriage?
Tomfoolery33 comments on Sep 16, 2018:
It's legality that is a help the way our system is set up. I am twice divorced, and doubt that I'll marry again, though I would never rule anything out permanently.

Why do I absolutely hate religion?
Tomfoolery33 comments on Sep 13, 2018:
You are not ultimately responsible for the lives of others. I assume the divorce would have happened anyway. And whether you gave up the house and kids or not, their lives would have been affected. Maybe you would have done better by the children than your wife did, but you don't know that. You are only responsible for your own life. You can have an affect on the lives of your children, but in the end they have to live their own lives. I'm sorry things have been so awful for you and I hope your children's lives improve.

Does anyone on this website think we have souls?
Tomfoolery33 comments on Sep 9, 2018:
I don't think it necessarily was made up by religions. People have this sense of interiority that they feel is continuous, and they hope that it will continue on. I don't believe there is a soul myself, but I understand people who do. It doesn't always have to do with religion.
