maybe I need to get one in a more prominent location... just to avoid confusion!
@Donna_I Don't want anyone to say "snack time"?
@Dougl35534 lol! being on the menu is definately not on my bucket list... or would that be a post-bucket list.. ?
I got my first and only tattoo at the age of 60. It's fairly small and on my right forearm. I don't care if other people have tattoos or not. It's not my business.

I've never actually had one done. Not because I was opposed to them, rather, I've never seen an option that I was willing to wear the rest of my life.
Although a work of Giger, or Escher might do the trick one day.

I had mine done back in 1972. People were aghast. "You're gonna be a 70 year old lady with a tattoo!!!"
My reply was, "I am no lady if I have a tattoo." It is in a place where I can show it in public or not. I had it redone 10 years ago covering the original which wasn't very. I am too cheap to waste money on such vanities currently.

I used to have a small one, but went through the laser removal process. Far more expensive and painful coming off than going on, but no regrets!

Hey me too. I got my first 20 years ago when I earned my brown belt in karate. I promised the srcond half when I earned the black belt. I earned my black belt a year later, but never had free cash to afford until 2 summers ago. Its finished now.
Five but none are visible in work attire.
The only one partially visible is a tiny one on my wrist covered by a bracelet- the tat is literally an inch long by 1/4 wide. Now that my arms are showing signs of aging and often sport bruises and scratches from my geocaching habit, it is even less noticeable
Since I live in Florida and wear shorts often, most are visible since there is one on left calf, right thigh, and right foot has a black rose in memory of my first granddaughter and grandmother
I have a peace sign on my upper back that reflects a change in perspective after I survived cancer.

I have 'Sapere Aude' on my shoulder. It can be translated to mean 'Dare to Reason'. The phrase means a lot to me. I also have a DNA strand to signify the evolution of life rather than creation. An exploding star near the DNA means 'Forget Jesus, the stars died so that we could live.' (Lawrence Krauss). The stardust goes around the DNA.
