I've been wearing hearing aids for three years. I would not be able to keep a job without them. My jobs are in customer service, gotta hear and understand what folks are saying. Costco will do free hearing tests, so that is an option to make sure you're getting the right hearing aids for your hearing loss. I had my hearing tested by an audiologist before I went to Costco.

I saw robo mowers a few years ago. Won't work in my yard, I have a very steep slope. I have a robo vac that my kitties like to sabotage. They have a few toys they will drop in it's path and the toys get clogged in it and it stops. It's not bad when I WFH, but when I'm in the office the run doesn't get finished that day. Not a big deal in the long run. I am usually home on Sunday when it runs.

I have heard of the rainbow bridge for years, since I first had my golden. If it comforts someone I am all for it, losing a pet sucks. When I first transitioned to atheism I had to let go of the irrational hope of seeing my mother and my first daughter in heaven one day. It gave me comfort to think of my mother being with my daughter and my daughter being healed of her birth defects. I mourned that loss of that hope for months. And I've also sent plenty of critters to "the rainbow bridge." I am all for what ever gives you peace. I am now over 10 years as an atheist, and yes, I still mourn the loss of hope of seeing my mother and daughter once again. I don't care that much about anyone who has gone on before, except for the kritters. I want to apologize to Spooky for the way her passing was handled, she deserved better.

This is something I do NOT have. I have lived in Tornado Alley most of my life and coastal hurricane areas a few times. Not to mention I've been through a typhoon in Okinawa. I have a healthy respect for the storms, and bug out to the basement if needed, but only if needed.

She was not very bright (I don't think) and she was vindictive as hell (and buddy to the team lead). I called her "my contemporary" once (she was a few months younger than I am), she had no idea what I meant. She'd complain when I used "big" words.
