Do you support Trump?

I completely believe that the US government needs to be completely revamped and revised before we can actually do any good for this country. But - taking that out of the equation, for now, I'd really love to hear people's (honest, respectful and mature) reasons why they do or do not support Trump. (or is unsure). Please, no disrespect or rudeness. He is our president and deserves at least the respect that position affords him (that does not mean we agree with him, but we shouldn't be slinging insults and such)

I want to see the country succeed of course. I, however, can not support someone who COMPLETELY changed everything he campaned on. I can not trust someone who refuses to acknowledge peoples rights by taking them away. I can not support someone who constantly feels the world is so bad to him when he is horrible to the Media, Prior Presidents and the People of the Country that criticize him.

I find it impossible to support a man with so many obvious flaws.

Trump is just a guy who probably stood for president initially as a joke, and then got serious about it when people started responding. Throughout his campaign, he never mentioned any facts or figures. Only vague promises like "Healthcare will be much cheaper. So cheap it'll make your head spin." He mentioned the "head spinning" part for almost everything. No facts, no figures, nothing.

It's clear that the political establishment (both parties) has done a crappy job of running the U.S. for decades (more like a century, actually). I support Trump's idea that some things need to be drastically changed.. because one definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. Our foray down the path of socialism and communism is bound to fail- look at the Soviet Union for a prime example of the failure of collectivism.

Trump is a type-A personality, and rather abrasive. But he is a political outsider, and as such, he is not "beholden" to the same political and lobbying interests as the entrenched policitians we have now. So I have hope that the swamp can be drained, and that a more open, honest, less corrupt government can be installed in the future.

Well said! Nice to have a Trump supporter on the website.

I support him in some things and do not support him in other things

I am from iraq and i support trump even he will steal iraqi oil's in a future

You might like the thought of a strong man a little too much.

in general I don't misogynists

I support some things he has done that most people don't realize, however those those don't outweight his rhetoric, constant lying, proactive hate speech, non presidential behavior and terrible international image. What's good jobs if nuke are in the air. He's single handedly rewinding our historical clock, roughly 50yrs or more.

God told me he is very proud of Trump...hahahahaha

No support here.

"Don't Support" I wouldn't Support Hillary Clinton either. All these candidates are corrupt. I Voted for Jill Stein and the Green Party. The Democrats have Betrayed what they stand for and no wonder many Hate the Democrats for their Reputation. A True Progressive will have more Positive effects then what the world see it. Hillary Clinton Fraud-ed the Primary Election. (She is Criminal in my eyes) And of course we got a Fraud-ed Election having Donald Trump. But that isn't from the Russians either. We are in a lot of Deception and that is what we need to get fixed up.

I honestly don't see any strong candidate from any party at this point. 😟

I like what he does for our country. Don't like his style.

I like the idea of less career policitians but he definitely was not the right one!

He appears to be someone that lives totally in a world of his own.

I respect the position of the POTUS, but I don't support Trump nor his klan. He will win re-election, but will later be impeached. After him, I estimate we will have 3 more presidents and then the U.S. government, as we know it, will no longer exist. Most of the Southern states probably won't either. America will destroy itself from the inside by its own people. Mother Nature will do the rest.

F&$k no!

What I can't understand is that people who support Trump make unsupported statements such as He is making America great. I challenge anyone to list the good things he has done. He is ridiculed and hated worldwide because he is despicable. Not as bad as Duterte, Erdogan, Baby Kim, Pinochet, Papa Doc, Putin or any other dictator, but he probably would like to be.

He’s done a lot of good by undoing a lot of the stupid idiotic shit Obama did. Obama was a regulation nut job who seemed intent on shutting down the economy of this nation. Not to mention his idiotic foreign policy.

@Trajan61 You have not said one good thing he has done. Be specific.

@RDaneel He did away with a lot of Obama’s stupid idiotic regulations which cost this country billions for little gain.Stopping the Keystone XL and the Dakota pipeline was just plain stupid. He put our foreign policy back on track by getting out of the Iran deal and the Paris climate accord.

Look at your stock or investment portfolio, I lost a crapload of cash under Obama, making good money under Trump.

I seek the truth not mere sophistry, a process Trump embodies

He's a habitual liar. Wake up!

@AndyMoreau If you could look up the definition of "sophistry"...that'd be great!

@hemingwaykitten I teach it. Is it that you need a fuller definition?

@Gripster31 That's kind of you, but no, I understand it. I addressed my comment to @AndyMoreau because he obviously needs a dictionary, as well as to stop yelling at you in his ignorance. Polite of you to ask though. ?

@hemingwaykitten oh, sorry, I meant the post sincerely

@Countrycuz666 yes, a sincere thinker
I am sure you are too...

@Countrycuz666 im so psyched this site is working out for you guys! What America needs now, is love!

I personally feel he is way too reckless with Americans basic human rights and the future of our citizens well being. I am all for revamping regulations for public assistance, gun laws, illegal immigration, and topics such as environmental protection vs removing regulations that will now open loopholes for irresponsible companies disposing of hazardous wastes. He isn't trying to change the laws allowing abuse of the systems because then he himself would be shut down. Instead, he wants to rip the proverbial carpet out and not have a car about who can survive his one size fits all tactics. The list goes on and on regardless of how many attempt to validate his lack luster justifications that if they were to personally wear one of the shoes others wear everyday, they would get a very rude awakening.

I'd only support him til the noose was around his traitorous neck, then I'd let him drop.

Love your poll. It is interesting that so many in this community do nor support this man.

I agree on you idea that the current system needs an overhaul. But I do not agree that tRump deserves the respect afforded by the office. I don't believe he has the best interests of the country as part of his agenda. His administration is just like his financial empire. Crooked.

Hell yes I support Trump! After 8 years of that idiot Obama we need a shakeup in Washington!

He is a national embarrassment.
