There’s a book I read a few years ago (and several times since) called Attached.
It opens up the concept of attachment style in relationships. The spectrum covers anxious, avoidant, and secure. Each of us fall somewhere in that spectrum, and the book expounds in how to consider oneself, and partners. Very good. Considered mandatory reading.
