Love is not a finite emotion. The love for your children is definitely different than the love for your spouse, as is your love for your pets, etc. So yes, you can still love another person. Hopefully you won't do anything to cause the person you are currently entangled with to want to change the relationship status.

Love is infinite. It is possible to love all people in all sorts of situations. It is possible to love your wife and still not be able to make that relationship work. Sadly, relationships take more than love to function. It is possible to love a wife and girlfriend within the same home or having a loving relationship at home and others outside the home. The key is honesty, respect, communication and consent of all the parties involved.
