I'm so very sorry--I've known quite a few people who've lost family members to suicide & it's so hard for them. It may be one of the worst ways to lose someone. I myself would not tell her mom that her daughter was an atheist. Thinking that her daughter is now in Hell would be horrible for her. But if her religious messages to you bother you, you could just tell her that you are not a believer. Wishing you acceptance & healing in 2019....

Yes, I had that too. I tried all kinds of things but finally just had to cut them off. It was a good decision. I wondered if I would feel bad when they died, but when they finally did, I didn't.

Yes, when I'm in work or a few other defined settings, I can kind of assume a role, almost like an actor, & pretend to act like a normal human being. I can actually be quite bold. But in casual settings I can't do it. I'm very insecure, self conscious & awkward.
