Interesting referral to the Dylan tune. For sure the notion of tribal or communal shared causality is a real thing to deal with. And if we don't come to terms with our failings as a whole it will be at our peril for sure. Similarly..in that vein I wrote and produced a miracle manifestation play in university ( '91 ) titled,"The Boy Who Built the Hill". My attempt at the epic Everyman story. Cast of 23.Was fun. :) Agrarian, low tech, isolated society stuff. Long into short..The Boy is seen as a threat.. in the end the community hangs him.. the hanging rope (pic#3) is made by the townspeople..ergo..everyone had a hand in the mechanism of the injustice meted. Apologies for the poor photos..quick pics off my wall. lol

On the positive.. A lot of forward movement on a number of fronts. Registered a business.. became an accredited diver.. acquired suicide intervention training.. .traveled to Ecuador.. connected with new people ( Hi Mandy, Sonya and Jess!! :).. my home studio is nearing completion...and on. So these are all good things to build on. On the negative.. too much stress around my youngest sons lack of any sense of responsibility or direction, wasted waaaaaaay toooooo much time focused on "dating" and literally getting nowhere..too much anxiety over how slow my progress is in creating my future paths. What I could have done different? Breathe more at the right time.. count to 10 more often before responding to others when I am under stress. Listen to myself.

Yes.. For phone calls regarding appointments, documents or files/ claims. I usually have the relevant card #'s ( health,drivers,cc.. etc.) and if it's booking something for a future date I have a calendar showing whether I am working day shift or afternoons. In my experience I have found being prepared,ie.. having all information easily available. helps the "bureaucratic" type on the other end want to be helpful . :)

This article made me so happy that I don't have the kind of recall these folks experience.

As a kid.. dill pickles.. Then at around age 20 when I was working in restaurants as a cook I started forcing myself to have one every once in a while just because others seemed to enjoy them so much. After a while I acquired the taste. Love them now. :)

I tend to be grateful for my realities .. as opposed to acts of help and kindness from others that can illicit gratitude. I am grateful or count myself fortunate for all manner of things.. my relatively good health, my general lot in life concerning employment and home life, the luxury of my education..etc. Gratitude I think is a little different. I feel gratitude when another has taken time from their day to think or act in a kind and helpful way towards me. It's rare.. but it does happen. People are too busy or wrapped up in their lives to reach out. So being grateful for my overall situation can lift my boat even at low tide. :)
