Describe the feeling when you left religion.
jlynn37 comments on Feb 2, 2018:
I do not recall any "feelings", just the realization that religions are just nonsense and I can find better things to do with my life.
Ladies, you've been warned.
jlynn37 comments on Feb 2, 2018:
Do you realize that the clitoris is the only organ in humans that has just one single purpose and that is to give pleasure.
How do you see youself in 5 years?
jlynn37 comments on Feb 2, 2018:
Possibly deceased, but I won't know anything about it.
Do you like dragons?
jlynn37 comments on Feb 2, 2018:
Hell yeah, the one living under my bed is amazing although a bit noisy at times.
How many of you have thought of relocating due to your beliefs?
jlynn37 comments on Feb 2, 2018:
My thoughts for relocating to another country and become an "expat" is strictly for political reason at this point time, but as the political atmosphere continues to morph into a theocratic one, I would most definitely include for religious reasons.
Volunteerism has always been an important part of my life, even after leaving religion it is remains...
jlynn37 comments on Feb 2, 2018:
Religious charities are just a ruse to get you in their confidence to proselytize. I firmly believe that if it were illegal and religious charitable organisations were not permitted to proselytize, they would stop their charitable organisations pronto. Religions do not do things for altruistic motives but do it strictly to "spread the good news". (IMHO)

Does this sound like love?
jlynn37 comments on Feb 1, 2018:
Oh the tangled web we humans weave.
I am feeling very frustrated right now.
jlynn37 comments on Feb 1, 2018:
Not from Craigslist, but every dating site is inundated with this type of scam. (except Agnostic.com). I have been on several dating sites for over 20 years and it has been that way since the start of the internet. Because it was so prevalent, I typed a text file and save to copy and paste in chats saying "I have one strict rule when I am on the internet. I will NEVER, under ANY circumstances, send money or gifts to ANYONE for ANY REASON". Feel free to copy and use it if you so desire.
Got my bi-yearly jury summons and wonder how everyone else handles the oath part.
jlynn37 comments on Feb 1, 2018:
I have always found ways to be rejected as a juror so I have never had to deal with it. I would hope that I would just refuse to say the oath on the book.
I just had a long, stupid day. What do you do to unwind and relax?
jlynn37 comments on Feb 1, 2018:
I have been retired for over 23 years, do not work at all, am single, live alone, in very good health, so I rarely have any day that resembles a "long, stupid day". I listen to MY kind of music on YouTube all day when I am at home and to recorded music when I am in my car traveling. I probably live as stress free a life that is possible. I often say that if I had one wish, it would be that every human on this planet have, at a minimum, as good a life that I have and enjoy.
Where would you live?
jlynn37 comments on Feb 1, 2018:
In a third world country, in a small comfortable hut. I would be a philanthropist and try to help as many of the wretched poor on this planet as much as what money I had could do.

jlynn37 comments on Feb 1, 2018:
I have always been an emotional man, I cry in movies and a lot of emotional situations, but I do not cry at the drop of a hat. Tears are not to be despaired of. They are signs of unimaginable joy or unspeakable grief.
This experience may be more of a guy thing of not paying attention.

Sooo.
jlynn37 comments on Feb 1, 2018:
For a first time meeting, sight unseen, I would agree to meet this woman at a local coffee shop and not go on a date. You, and she, will be free spend as much time together as you are comfortable with, to size each other up and to see if you would want to take it to the date stage. If you are not interested you can just end the meeting gracefully and go on your way.

Will someone explain sports fanaticism?
jlynn37 comments on Jan 31, 2018:
It is totally beyond my comprehension. I have absolutely no interest in any sports. If I enjoy doing something, I want to be on the field doing it and not in the bleachers watching it. To each his on.
I need some intelligent advice and kind words.

Bias
jlynn37 comments on Jan 31, 2018:
I believe everyone has biases. I am biased against obesity, smoking, public profanity, just to name a few. I strive not to let it overcome me to the point of being obnoxious or cruel. As far as biases against me, well I just don't give a fuck, unless it prevents me from enjoying my life as I see fit.
What was one of your most embarrassing moments?
jlynn37 comments on Jan 31, 2018:
I was enjoying some sexual activity with my GF in my back bedroom prior to expecting my mom, dad, sister and brother-in-law to arrive in a few hours. My sexual encounters are usually pretty vocal at times. After finishing our pleasures, I got up and walked into the living room, completely naked, to find them sitting quietly waiting.
How many of you refer to science in socail occasions
jlynn37 comments on Jan 31, 2018:

"Does anyone have an opinion on Quantum Entanglement and what it has to do with Einstein's 'spooky action at a distance' comment". I usually get some blank stares.

During Love Making, Are you The You Vocal Or Silent Type?
jlynn37 comments on Jan 31, 2018:
One has to put forth a lot of effort to suppress vocalizing the pleasure that one feels during sexual activity and especially orgasm. I would liken it to trying to suppress a sneeze.

I never considered there being anything "bigger" and it was simply social and enjoyable. The nonsense was simply ignored.
